  • Publication number: 20050135864
Abstract: A mop assembly including a mop head and handle, and a supply of liquid connected to a valve assembly on the handle. The valve assembly includes a replaceable length of resiliently flexible tubing having a portion extending transversely through the handle and members on opposite sides of the length of tubing that are relatively movable between a closed position pinching together opposite sides of the tubing to stop the flow of liquid through it, and a spaced open position affording flow of liquid through the tube. A storage cart includes a main portion and a tray portion having a receptacle for receiving the mop head mounted on the main portion for relative movement between a vertical closed position at which the main portion covers an open side of the receptacle; and a horizontal open position at which the mop head can be inserted into or removed from the receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20050130903
Abstract: The present invention provides angiogenesis inhibitor compounds comprising a MetAP-2 inhibitory core coupled to a peptide, as well as pharmaceutical compositions comprising the angiogenesis inhibitor compounds and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The present invention also provides methods of treating an angiogenic disease, e.g., cancer, in a subject by administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of one or more of the angiogenesis inhibitor compounds of the invention.

  • Publication number: 20050060759
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for creating and distributing programming content carried by a digital streaming media to be a plurality of remote nodes located over a large geographic area to create customized broadcast quality programming at the remote nodes. At the remote nodes, a multi-window screen display simultaneously shows different programming including national programming and local programming content. The remote nodes utilize a remote channel origination device to assemble the customized programming at the remote location that can be controlled from a central location. An encapsulated IP and IP encryption system is used to transport the digital streaming media to the appropriate remote nodes. Also disclosed is a graphical user interface (“GUI”) providing a software control interface for creating and editing shows or programs that can be aired or played on a remote display device having a multi-window display.

  • Publication number: 20050029286
Abstract: A dosing device is described, in which a predetermined amount of a material such as a concentrated fluid can be dispensed from the device by finger pressure. In one embodiment, the device includes a shuttle that can move between first and second positions. In the second position, fluid can escape from a dosing chamber.

  • Publication number: 20050014434
Abstract: A cleaning wipe including a fiber web and a tacky material. The fiber web defines opposing surfaces and an intermediate region between the opposing surfaces. In this regard, at least one of the opposing surfaces serves as a working surface for the cleaning wipe. The tacky material is applied to the web such that a level of tacky material is greater in the intermediate region than at the working surface. In one embodiment, the amount of tacky material per area of web material is greater in the intermediate region than at either of the opposing surfaces. In another embodiment, the fiber web is a nonwoven fiber web.

  • Patent number: 6626660
Abstract: A fermented or yeast leavened dough is continuously fed to a plurality of nozzles and extruded and twisted into a plurality of continuous twisted dough ropes without substantially increasing the density of the dough. The dough is fed to the nozzles by an extruder or pump which supplies the dough at a substantially constant pressure without substantial surging of the dough. Each nozzle may produce a plurality of dough ropes which are twisted together to form a continuous twisted dough rope. By avoiding a substantial increase in dough density during extrusion and twisting, a hard, glassy texture in the baked product is avoided and a crispy, non-vitreous texture is achieved. The dough twisting apparatus includes a manifold having a plurality of dough passageways and extruder pipes which extend from the downstream ends of the dough passageways. A rotary die cup is mounted on each of the stationary extruder pipes. Each die cup contains one or more die orifices.

  • Publication number: 20030155488
Abstract: A detection apparatus is discloses comprising an emitter for emitting a plurality of optical pulses; a detector for receiving the optical pulses from the emitter; and a controller connected to the emitter and the detector, the controller comparing a difference between at least one pulse received at the detector and at least one other pulse received at the detector with a threshold to detect the presence of an object between the emitter and detector. Also discloses is an object processing system, which automatically detects the presence of objects at at least one predetermined location during object processing, comprising an object processing subsystem; and an object detection subsystem communicatively connected to the object processing subsystem.

  • Patent number: 3931861
Abstract: A snowmobile suspension system including a tread, a supporting frame for the tread, and front and rear suspension means suspending the frame beneath the body. The rear suspension means includes co-acting support arms and control levers permitting the relative movement between the frame and the body to exceed the movement between the support arm and frame, thus reducing the likelihood of the body striking, or "bottoming out", against the frame.
