Abstract: Wish list creation and population is provided where users can associate one or more images as items in a wish list. To this end, an image can be provided, such as a photograph taken by the user, and analyzed to locate matching items and information related thereto. In this regard, the user can observe and desire to purchase an item without knowledge of specifics about the item. The user can then take a picture of the item and tag the picture for upload to their wish list. Matching can be provided to identify one or more items in the picture to facilitate retrieval of information related to the items. Also, items can be selected based on discerned characteristics of the picture in a design/fashion consultant context.

An interactive media module is configured to provide communication between the dispensing system and a user. The interactive media module has a menu of options and being capable of responding to commands by the user. The interactive media module is connected to the control module to provide input to the control module.

Abstract: An embodiment of a multiprocessor computer system comprises main memory, a remote processor capable of accessing the main memory, a remote cache device operative to store accesses by said remote processor to said main memory, and a filter tag cache device associated with the main memory. The filter cache device is operative to store information relating to remote ownership of data in the main memory including ownership by the remote processor. The filter cache device is operative to selectively invalidate filter tag cache entries when space is required in the filter tag cache device for new cache entries. The remote cache device is responsive to events indicating that a cache entry has low value to the remote processor to send a hint to the filter tag cache device. The filter tag cache device is responsive to a hint in selecting a filter tag cache entry to invalidate.

Abstract: A method to join pipe is disclosed using a curable one or two part adhesive composition comprising an effective amount of a boron containing initiator compound such as an organoborate, a stabilized organoborane complex, or combinations thereof; one or more monomers, oligomers, polymers or mixtures thereof having olefinic unsaturation which is capable of polymerization by free radical polymerization; and optionally a decomplexing agent. An especially preferred organoborane is one where a tertiary or quaternary nitrogen atom is bonded to the organoborane to prepare an amido-borate. In those embodiments where the nitrogen is quaternary, the quaternary nitrogen portion of the amido-borate is the cationic counter ion for the borate anion portion of the compound to which the quaternary nitrogen atom is bonded.

Abstract: A low-light viewing device includes a housing, having mounted thereto: a lens, an electronic camera for receiving light focused by the lens and for providing an output signal; a display for receiving the output signal and displaying an image detected by the camera; a controller for controlling the camera and the display, and a user interface for operating the controller. The lens may be a fixed focus lens having an F number of less than about 1, and a T number of less than about 1.5. The display may have a resolution at least as great as the resolution of the camera. The device may have a processor programmed to provide control signals to the camera and display depending on a selected light environment.

The balance beam has the capability of absorbing the downward momentum of a gymnast landing on the beam and then providing a near equal upward thrust to the gymnast allowing greater heights and longer air time in an immediately following jump thus facilitating the quicker learning of gymnastic skills. To achieve this, the beam is supported within a frame of similar dimension as the beam. The components which support the beam within the frame are located at each end of the beam and consist of a special arrangement of springs and elastic straps which represent the embodiment of the invention.

Abstract: An apparatus for creating a flying effect. The apparatus includes a mounting assembly on a body and a wing assembly attached to the mounting assembly. The wing assembly includes right and left wings and a span member extending between the wings. A drive assembly is provided with a reciprocal drive shaft and a drive for reciprocating the shaft. A contact member extending from an end of the reciprocating shaft contacts the span member to apply a drive force at a drive frequency. The mounting assembly includes a recessed surface, and the span member is positioned over the recessed surface such that the span member is urged toward the recessed surface when the drive force is applied. The span member is formed of flexible material, and the wings move with the spring-like span member as it is urged toward the recessed surface and as it returns to its at-rest position.

Abstract: The present invention is a real-time intelligent find-assistant that suggests useful search terms to a buyer shopping an electronic catalog, as they progress in their online journey to find a particular item for potential purchase. In contrast to current approaches, the present invention uses an adaptive algorithm to extract and rank-order possible search terms from candidate vendor catalog pages, based upon a measure of relevance, or utility, derived from the proximity of possible non-generic terms in the vendor catalog to the terms already selected by the user in their current search. Also in contrast to current approaches, the invention captures and stores buyers' entire history of choices over time (even years), and uses this knowledge to make increasingly useful suggestions to a buyer as to what item descriptions to look for, as they progress through their search, thus allowing an organization to leverage expert purchasing behaviors for use by novice buyers.

Abstract: A single field rotor motor comprising a rotor mounted for rotation with respect to a stator. The stator has a plurality of stator poles each having a coil for creating a magnetic pole force. The rotor has a plurality of circumferentially spaced salient rotor poles formed thereon, and has a first axial end and a second axial end. Magnetic means are provided for creating an unchanging, single polarity field on all of the rotor poles by inducing flux into the axial ends of the rotor. Circuit means for alternately charge said stator coils to alternate the polarity of a given stator pole to alternately attract and repel said rotor poles to produce rotation of said rotor.

The source container includes a fluid-tight vessel configured to hold fluid concentrate, and a pump connectable to the opening of the source container, the pump having a temporary reservoir, the pump being operable to withdraw a portion of the fluid concentrate from the source container and to store the portion of fluid concentrate in the temporary reservoir. The pump is also operable to dispense a metered amount of the fluid concentrate from the temporary reservoir to dispense the fluid concentrate from the source container into receiving containers.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods for treating cancer wherein more than one therapeutic agent is used, with each of the therapeutic agents having different tumor-killing capabilities, and wherein the therapeutic agents are delivered to the tumor sites using combined targeting and pre-targeting methods. The methods of the present invention achieve good tumor to non-tumor ratios of the therapeutic agents, and are effective for cancer therapy.

In addition, the bottom bar is equipped on its top face with grooves large enough to accommodate wires of a predetermined size. The top bar can be rotated at ninety degrees with respect to the bottom bar thereby allowing the insertion into the grooves of the wires. The top bar can be rotated parallel to the bottom bar, thereby allowing the locking in place of the wires. The harness can be slid up and down the wires thereby disentangling the wires.
