Abstract: A network device is arranged to identify a group coordinator for a group of networked playback devices. The network device may have a network interface configured to communicate with first playback device and a second playback device over a network. A processor may execute instructions to cause the processor to receive a command to cause a group of one or more playback devices to play audio content, wherein the group of one or more playback devices comprises the first playback device. In response to the command, the processor is to determine that the first playback device is battery-powered. The processor is to identify the second playback device to provide audio content data and audio content playback timing information to the group of the one or more playback devices based on the determination that the first playback device is battery-powered.

  • Publication number: 20190219785
Abstract: Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to a cable sealing structure comprising a cable sealing body including a gel and methods of making anisotropic behavior in cable sealing structures made with a dry silicone gel. In one aspect, various three-dimensional printing techniques are used to make a cable sealing structure that includes a gel. The cable sealing body has a construction that elastically deforms to apply an elastic spring load to the gel. The cable sealing body has a construction with anisotropic deformation characteristics that allows the cable sealing body to be less deformable in one direction than in others. The cable sealing structure can be utilized to seal fiber optic cables more uniformly while limiting the potential of leakage.

  • Patent number: 10338995
Abstract: A system includes a first fail-safe chassis (FSC) receives module health signals from a plurality of modules and generates a first chassis health signal. The chassis health signal includes first and second portions. A plurality of modules receives the chassis health signal. The FSC determines whether one or more of the module heals signals indicates an associated module is unhealthy by comparing the module health signals and a predetermined health value. The FSC selectively de-asserts the first chassis health signal based on the comparison. A second FSC operates similarly. A safety relay box determines the health of the system in accordance with the first and second chassis health signals.

  • Publication number: 20190080732
Abstract: A method for driving a non-volatile memory system is disclosed. A standby detection circuit detects whether the nonvolatile memory system is in a standby condition. In response to determining that the non-volatile memory system is in a standby condition, a bias control circuit reduces bias currents provided to drivers of the non-volatile memory system in a standby mode. The non-volatile memory system is operated in the standby mode after the bias currents have been reduced, where an output signal indicating the standby mode is maintained until a read instruction is detected.
