  • Patent number: 7001101
Abstract: Interlocking paver system for the use of constructing sidewalks, pathways and decks being formed from a light weight material for easy handling. Joined together by a plastic spline with gripping teeth, which when placed in spline receiver slots on sides of paver, which has a protruding upper edge that surrounds the entire perimeter allowing the pavers to tilt up or down, which allows the pavers to be placed on uneven or unlevel surfaces and prevents pavers from separating and from moving side to side, back and forth, and from settling downward and lifting upward which establishes a stable walking surface that is easy to install or assemble.

  • Publication number: 20050090336
Abstract: A poolside goal system may allow various games or sports, such as basketball or volleyball, to be played in a swimming pool. For example, the poolside goal system may include a base, a goal support, a basketball goal assembly and volleyball net assembly. The basketball goal assembly is preferably movable between a first position in which basketball can be played and a second position which allows volleyball to be played. Advantageously, the basketball goal assembly may be configured to counterbalance forces applied to the volleyball net assembly. The poolside goal system may also include a wheel assembly to allow the system to be readily moved, or the goal system may be permanently secured in a fixed position. The poolside goal system, however, does not have to be used in connection with a swimming pool and it could be used in other environments or situations.

  • Patent number: 6505279
Abstract: A microcontroller system includes a security lock circuit to regulate access requests to contents of locations of a program memory. The regulation is selective, based on an operating mode of the security lock circuit, and also based on the source of the access request and the location of the program memory for which the access request is intended. Among other advantages, one major advantage provided by the security lock circuit is that concurrent programming (i.e., programming of one area of memory using instructions executing from another area of memory) can be initiated under predetermined secure conditions.

  • Patent number: 6339815
Abstract: A microcontroller system has a first and a second block of non-volatile programmable memory and includes a program memory space allocation circuitry. In a first mode of operation, the first and second blocks of programmable memory are prevented from being written by commands external to the microcontroller system. In a second mode, however, the first and second blocks of programmable memory are prevented from being written by commands external to the microcontroller system but the second block of programmable memory can be written based upon execution of commands stored in the first block of programmable memory. By having circuitry to so allocate the programmable memories, the security of the programmable memories is enhanced.
