  • Publication number: 20130303931
Abstract: Inhalation measurement systems and methods enable, during inhalant exposure, substantially real-time respiratory measurements of a test subject using techniques that obtain measurements of respiration directly from that test subject, instead of from inhalation chamber parameter measurements. Direct test subject respiratory measurements may be, by way of example only, impedance measurements. These respiratory measurements taken directly from the test subject may be transmitted, wirelessly for example, for processing during the course of the test to a processing system to determine a cumulative volume of inhalant inspired by the test subject. From that, a cumulative amount of inhalant (or dose) inspired by the test subject may be determined during the course of the inhalation compound test.

  • Publication number: 20060107546
Abstract: A marking device for making layout marks an surfaces such as boards, panels, or walls including a tape measure with a plurality of holes disposed along its length is disclosed. The device also contains a reel for dispensing a chalk line wherein the chalk line is positioned over the tape measure. The chalk line may be tensioned and snapped to transfer chalk through the holes, thereby providing marks at predetermined intervals.

  • Patent number: 5630711
Abstract: A peristaltic pump for transferring fluid through a flexible tube having a loop-shaped tube path is provided. The pump includes a motor that drives a pair of rollers in a circular path within a housing. The housing includes identical housing halves that together define an inlet port, an outlet port and the loop-shaped tube path through which the flexible tube is fed.
