  • Publication number: 20130054406
Abstract: A method for inscribing a communicated text message as a memorabilia on a wearable medium utilizing a mobile device is installed with a mobile application. The application allows a user to login to an account using an email id and password. The application is operable to convert the text message into a memorabilia. The user is able to select at least one text message for inscribing on a wearable medium. A snapshot option allows the user to capture an image of a text message for making a memorable moment. The user is permitted to crop and resize the selected image for making the image suitable for inscribing. The user selects at least one of a list of available wearable medium. The user sends the selected image with selected wearable medium to the service provider. The service provider mails the wearable medium to the user.

  • Patent number: 5506459
Abstract: A magnetically balanced spinning apparatus having an upright rotating shaft assembly that is balanced by circumscribing magnets is disclosed. The rotating shaft assembly is constructed from a single shaft with at least two magnets mounted thereon in a spaced apart relationship. The rotating shaft assembly is balanced on a pivot point at the bottom and spins on a weight bearing surface. A frame having side support magnets generally circumscribes the rotating shaft assembly wherein the support magnets and the rotating magnets of the rotating shaft assembly react to repel each other thereby balancing the rotating shaft assembly in a vertical orientation, and simultaneously levitating the rotating shaft assembly to minimize the effects of gravity thereon.

  • Patent number: 5182533
Abstract: A magnetically levitated spinning axle display apparatus having a base assembly and an axle assembly. The base assembly includes a base platform member having a plurality of base magnets that are disposed spaced apart along an upper surface thereof. The platform member has an upstanding wall forming an axle support member disposed at one end. The axle assembly includes a plurality of disc shaped magnets disposed spaced apart along the rod and coordinate with individual ones of the base magnets when a first or second rod end portion is engaged in abutting contact with the upstanding axle support member. The polarity configurations of the rod magnets and the base magnets are repulsive to one another to permit free floating levitation of the rod above the base and to generate a longitudinal lateral force sufficient to keep a rod end contacted with the upstanding axle support.

  • Patent number: 4912859
Abstract: A spring shoe is provided, of the type which includes a top plate that holds a person's foot and a bottom plate coupled to the top plate through springs to allow for vigorous jumping, wherein the top plate is stabilized against unwanted motion in a simple and rugged mechanism. An elongated cross bar is provided which has a front end hinged to the front of the top plate and a rear end hinged to the rear of the bottom plate. The cross bar permits vertical motion and pitch of the top plate with respect to the bottom plate, while avoiding other unwanted motions of the top plate such as longitudinal and lateral shifting and tilting in roll.
