  • Publication number: 20250386288
Abstract: Provided are systems, methods, and computer program products including a processor, a transceiver coupled to the processor, and memory coupled to the processor. The memory stores program instructions that will cause the processor to be configured to establish cellular service with each of one or more cellular carriers; receive plural signals transmitted via control channels for each cellular carrier; measure the plural signals to determine a signal strength of each of the plural signals; evaluate the signal strength of each of the plural signals by ranking the signal strength of each of the plural signals from a strongest signal to a weakest signal; select a first cellular carrier of the one or more cellular carriers based on ranking the signal strength of each of the plural signals, wherein the first cellular carrier transmitted the strongest signal; and maintain cellular service with the first cellular carrier.

  • Patent number: 12462667
Abstract: A condition responsive indicating device, comprising a local transceiver, configured to communicate with a signal box alarm panel, and a processor, coupled to the local transceiver. The condition responsive indicating device also comprises a remote transceiver, coupled to the processor and configured to connect to at least one network as well as a memory, coupled to the processor. The condition responsive indicating device further comprises programming in the memory, wherein execution of the programming by the processor configures the condition responsive indicating device to implement the following functions. First, to receive an input message via the local transceiver, the input message including a protocol designator. Second, to select a protocol based on the protocol designator of the input message. Third, to transmit an output message via the remote transceiver, over at least one outbound network from the at least one network, utilizing the selected protocol.

  • Patent number: 11240276
Abstract: A communicator device including a network interface for facilitating internet protocol (IP) communication, a public switched telephone network (PSTN) device interface for facilitating communication with a PSTN device and a processor. The processor is configured to communicate with a user application via an IP connection, receive instructions via the IP connection, generate a telephone ring signal based on the instructions, output the telephone ring signal to the PSTN device via the PSTN device interface, in response to the PSTN device providing a response to the telephone ring signal, establish a tip/ring connection between the PSTN device and the communicator device, and perform a data exchange between the user application and the PSTN device via a communication link that includes the IP connection and the tip/ring connection.

  • Publication number: 20050003312
Abstract: Photographic elements are disclosed comprising a silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith a dye forming coupler and a compound of the following Formula I: R1R2N—C(O)—(R)p—C(O)—NR3R4 wherein R represents a hydrocarbon linking group; p=0 or 1; and each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represents an aromatic, cyclic, linear or branched chain hydrocarbon group, or R1 and R2 or R3 and R4 combine together to form a ring with the associated nitrogen atom to which they are attached; with the proviso (i) at least one of R1, R2, R3 and R4 comprises an aromatic, cyclic, secondary alkyl, or otherwise or branched hydrocarbon group, or (ii) at least R1 and R2 or R3 and R4 combine together to form a ring with the associated nitrogen atom. Photographic elements of the present invention upon exposure and photographic processing exhibit good activity and yield dye images that have unexpected and substantial improvements in the stability of the formed image dyes.

  • Patent number: 6378328
Abstract: A refrigerant flow-control device is automatically operable between a normal or low-flow condition and a pressure relief or high-flow condition in response to pressure drop across the flow-control device, in one embodiment the flow-control device includes a tubular-shaped body having an inlet, an outlet, and a refrigerant passageway extending from the inlet to the outlet, a cylindrically-shaped restrictor secured within the tube and forming a second restriction, and a cylindrically-shaped collar secured within the tube and forming a poppet-valve flow passage. The collar is spaced-apart from the restrictor within the tube. A poppet is located within the tube partially between the restrictor and the collar and carries a valve element. The poppet is movable between a first position closing the poppet-valve flow passage to generally prevent refrigerant flow therethrough and a second position opening the poppet-valve flow passage to permit refrigerant flow therethrough. The poppet forms a first restriction.
