    Abstract: A heat exchanger and, in particular, a heat exchanger for a motor-vehicle air-conditioning system includes a manifold with apertures for heat exchanging tubes and projections at the ends of the manifold for retaining members. The projections are designed to maintain the position of the retaining members during manufacture of the heat exchanger so that defects are not introduced into the heat exchanger during production.
