  • Publication number: 20070234845
Abstract: A cam thrust assembly that includes at least one rotatable cam plate and at least one roller retaining recess defined in the cam plate. The roller retaining recess has an inner radius and an outer radius and defines a ramp surface having a shallow portion and a deep portion. The cam thrust assembly further includes a tapered roller positioned in the roller retaining recess on the ramp surface for movement along the ramp surface. At least a portion of the ramp surface is curved between the shallow portion and the deep portion in the direction of the roller travel.

  • Publication number: 20050178231
Abstract: A cam locking assembly for an adjustable steering column. The assembly includes a tie bolt that is secured relative to the steering column. A lever member is positioned for rotation about the tie bolt. A caming unit is positioned about the tie bolt adjacent the lever member. The caming unit has a roller assembly positioned between a pair of opposed cam plates. One of the cam plates is associated with the lever member and rotates therewith and the other plate is fixed relative to such rotation. Each cam plate has a plurality of ramped recesses on its internal surface such that rotation of the one plate causes the rollers to ride up the ramps such that the plates are pushed apart. The pushed apart ramps cause clamping upon the steering column to lock its position.

  • Publication number: 20050160024
Abstract: An electronic system for aggregated pricing of linked multi-leg (e.g., equity/option and option/option) asset packages with an additional link to an automated broker system for trading the linked asset packages are disclosed. The invention provides methodology and apparatus to electronically produce aggregated price quotes for packages of instruments designed to represent traditional trading strategies involving cash and their derivatives (e.g., stock and equity options). The system develops packages according to specified strategies, and prices the packages based on the national best bid and offer (NBBO) or direct input from participating market makers and investors. The packages are designed for easy understanding by traditional investors and designed for trading through a single order. These packages are desirable over separately trading the asset and its derivative (e.g.
