  • Patent number: 6070171
Abstract: The present invention provides a central computer site on a computer network for detecting authorized or unauthorized duplication of software on computers connected to such a network. The computers on the network may be continually connected, like computers on a Local Area Network, or intermittently connected, like computers on the Internet. Every time a user of the distributed software attempts to execute that software, a connection to the central computer site on the network is made, and a previously-created information token is presented by the user's software to the central site. The central site evaluates that token, and possibly issues a new token to be kept by the user for the next transaction. These transactions need no human intervention, and may take place without the software user's knowledge. At the same time, the central site may provide or withhold permission for the user to execute the distributed software.

  • Patent number: 5673508
Abstract: A jigging lure having a weighted body molded to a fish hook and including a beaded trailer hook. The flapper is secured to the body with a split ring at aligned apertures and from a slot which mounts about the hook extension. The eye of the trailer hook is secured to the shank of the primary hook and a bead is molded to the trailer hook. A variety of dressings mount to the bead including multi-filament skirts and molded plastic tails.

  • Patent number: 5346247
Abstract: A suspension for a vehicle having a rear axle beneath the frame of the vehicle. An elongated gooseneck spring includes a center portion, an upwardly inclined front portion and a lower trailing rear portion. The front portion of the spring operatively engages a front hanger mounted on the frame. The spring is clamped to the rear axle at the center portion of the spring. An air spring is mounted on the lower trailing rear portion of the spring and is also attached to the frame. A shock absorber is located between the rear axle and the air spring and is operatively connected between the frame and the rear axle. The lower trailing rear portion of the gooseneck spring extends inwardly under the frame. The gooseneck spring is formed with a downwardly and inwardly twisted portion between its center portion and its lower trailing rear portion.
