Abstract: A putting practice device in which the diameter of the ball-receiving cup of the device can be made smaller or larger to sharpen the putting skills of the golfer. Additionally, the ball-receiving copy of the device is designed so that golf balls entering the cup during the practice session will automatically roll outwardly therefrom by force of gravity.

Abstract: A manually operated toy film viewer of simple design for viewing an 8 millimeter film loop contained within the housing of the viewer. In operating the toy film viewer, the loop of 8 millimeter film is controllably moved past a viewing aperture by a manual crank handle which is rotatably connected to one side of the hollow housing. The apparatus includes a feed sprocket, a spring biased shutter, a simple optical lens and a translucent screen disposed within a small window which is located opposite the viewing aperture and in close proximity with the film loop. Both the drive sprocket and the shutter of the film viewer are operated by the hand crank which car be easily manipulated by the child to controllably advance the film past the viewing aperture.

Abstract: A lanyard connects a pair of head covers for golf clubs together by a connector section of predetermined thickness with a hole therein for receiving the lanyard. The lanyard includes an elongated line element having opposed ends with a pair of protruding members near each of these opposed ends. Each pair of protruding members has an outer most and and inner most member which are spaced apart a distance about equal to the predetermined thickness of the connector section. One end of the line element has a tab section that extends from an adjacent outer most protruding member nearby the one end of the line element which facilitates pulling the adjacent outer most protruding member through one hole in one cover. The other end of the line element has another tab section that extends from an adjacent outer most protruding member nearby this other end of the line element which facilitates pulling the adjacent outer most protruding member through this other hole in the other cover.

Abstract: A head cover for an iron golf club has an enlarged cover section which fits over the head of irons of different sizes. The cover section includes an internal cavity with an enlarged open mouth through which the head passes upon placing the cover section over the head and a protector section which covers at least partially the hosel member of the shaft when the head is received within the cavity. A clip near the open mouth expands with the shaft of the iron golf club being pushed into the cavity and retracts to hold the shaft when the head is received within the cavity.

Abstract: A multi-purpose golf tool 10 comprises a housing 12 having an exterior surface including a first side with a window therein and a second side with first and second openings therein. A score wheel 18 inside the housing 12 has one side with numbers displayed thereon and a rim. The rim partially extends through the first opening to enable the wheel 18 to be manually rotated by pushing against the portion of the rim extending through the first opening. The wheel 18 is mounted so that individual ones of the numbers move in sequence into alignment with the window as the wheel 18 is rotated. A brush 20 mounted within the housing 12 is manually moved between a first position where the brush 20 is enclosed within the housing 12 and a second position where the bristles of the bush extend through the second opening outward from the housing.

Abstract: An upright rearwardly inclined game-piece receiving panel is carried by a panel receiving socket in a base and is movable to a vertical position by a biasing spring acting on the socket. Game-pieces applied to the panel are ejected therefrom upon the expiration of a predetermined period of time when a timer mechanism also carried by the base member releases a latch mechanism holding the socket inclined against the bias of the spring. The panel is preferably shaped like a human head. The game-pieces preferably resemble facial features and have bases shaped complementary to recesses formed in the panel at appropriate locations and are selected by the player as a component of a face by reference to a design on a card. The game is won by first selecting the appropriate game pieces and applying them to the panel to produce the prescribed composite design and then manually stopping the timer mechanism before it causes the game-pieces to be ejected from the panel.
