    Abstract: A syringe holder permitting one-handed recapping of the syringe needle and thereby avoiding possibility of injury from needlestick.The holder comprises a support for the syringe body associated with a support for the needle cap. A clamp is provided for the needle cap support which releasably clamps the cap in place during use of the syringe. Accordingly the syringe needle may be withdrawn from the cap and recapped as many times as desired, using but a single hand. A sheath is associated with the assembly.
