Abstract: A medical device senses cardiac electrical signals including T-waves attendant to ventricular myocardial repolarizations and detects a T-wave template condition associated with non-pathological changes in T-wave morphology. The device generates a T-wave template from T-waves sensed by the sensing circuit during the T-wave template condition. After generating the T-wave template, the device acquires a T-wave signal from the cardiac electrical signal and compares the acquired T-wave signal to the T-wave template. The system may also allow the display of driver or vehicle specific information such as the user's driver's license number or insurance at the request of a third party authorities such as the police. The system allows for use of a mobile computing device having software connected with the internet to access a server allowing for communication with various registrations authorities including the DMV, municipal parking authorities, and private parking authorities. Displays may be overwritten and changed depending on the location of the vehicle and need to provide display of certain authorizations.

Abstract: Systems and methods for estimating frequency and bandwidth of unknown signals using learned features of a filter pair for the purpose of detecting, separating and tracking these signals in an electronic receiver. The techniques could be part of a signal cueing system that initiates signal detection, separation and tracking or a signal separation and tracking system which is initialized by the cueing system and adaptively updates frequency and bandwidth estimates so as to continuously separate and track signals after initial detection. The methodology is to train the filter responses using machine learning by creating a grid of training data based on signal examples that cover a span of frequencies and bandwidths. The system estimates frequency and bandwidth in real time, inputs those estimates into interpolating lookup tables to retrieve filter coefficients, and provides those filter coefficients to a tunable tracking filter.
