  • Patent number: 11850686
Abstract: Present invention teaches a height adjustable rest having four main parts: a base, a cylindrical knob, a cylindrical post and a snap ring. The cylindrical post has a vertical straight groove to guide the up-and-down height adjustment when the knob is turned relative to the base. The base holes and the knob holes, along with the corresponding rods, provide increased torque when larger and/or heavier workpiece is being supported. The matching inner thread portion (on the inside of the cylindrical knob) and the outer thread portion (on the outside of the base) is a desired feature to make the product less susceptible to damages or work debris compared to other products with exposed threads.

  • Patent number: 10328538
Abstract: Present invention relates to a rotary positioner that allows a welding table's work surface to be set at an angle as desired by a user. Two vertical frames can move and slide along the length of a chassis-bar to adjust the distance between the two vertical frames. As long as the length of a welding table does not exceed the total greatest distance between the two vertical frames, the present invention can fit any work table or welding table. Caster wheels and height adjustment knobs allow for easy movement and balancing of the rotary positioner.

  • Patent number: 10239190
Abstract: The present invention provides an improved release mechanism for clamping tools where problems of thread slipping due to worn out thread can be reduced by the structure of a plunger with a small diameter section and the engagement of the thread shaft is made more secure by the cam action on account of the shape of the plunger. A protrusion extends from a push button on a top portion of the half-threaded nut. Threads are formed on an upper portion of the hole for engaging the threaded shaft. The middle portion of the plunger is made to have a section of small diameter allowing the protrusion to be pushed downward in a normal position and allowing the protrusion to rely on the resilient power of the helical spring to push it upward into the small diameter section.

  • Patent number: 9827636
Abstract: Present invention provides a universal fixture that fits a broad range of flange/pipe sizes, covering the common sized 4-hole to 24-hole flanges. The present invention solves the end play issue (between the mounting studs and the screw holes of the flange) by aligning the centers of the flange to the center of the pipe, relying on the center hole of the OH plate. An additional accessory can be used to set adjustable height support, for propping up pipes and balance the weight, facilitating the ease of handling the welding work.

  • Publication number: 20160332265
Abstract: Present invention provides a universal fixture that fits a much broader range of flange/pipe sizes, covering the common sized 4-hole to 24-hole flanges, so that the welding to be performed at a job site is made easier due to the flexibility of the fixture introduced herein.

  • Patent number: 7009480
Abstract: A semi-releasable magnetic tool is disclosed. The tool comprises two magnetizable pole plates. Each of said pole plates is bounded by peripheral edges. The pole plates are spaced apart and preferably disposed in substantial registry with one another. A generally non-magnetizable spacer member is positioned between the pole plates and spaced inwardly from the peripheral edges. A magnetic switch is mounted between the pole plates. The switch is switchably associated with at least one magnetic element. The magnetic element positioned so as to magnetize the pole plates. The magnetic element can be switchably moved toward and away from the pole plates so that they are strongly or weakly magnetized. The magnetization of the tool in the weaker configuration is such that the tool can be easily placed in a desired position on a magnetizable workpiece. The tool is clamped in position on the workpiece by moving the magnet(s) closer to the pole plates.

  • Patent number: 6022164
Abstract: A multi-position fixture assembly comprising a captive body having a threaded end unitary with an enlarged end. The threaded end is adapted to threadably attach to an object to be lifted. The enlarged end of the captive body includes a swivel cavity and external hex head. The swivel cavity has a generally flat bottom and a generally cylindrical side wall. The hex head is easily engaged by a conventional wrench to torque the fixture to a workpiece. The cylindrical side wall of the swivel cavity includes an internally threaded portion which is opposed from the bottom. A hoist head with a flanged end and an opposed free end is assembled into the swivel cavity of the enlarged end of the captive body by means of an externally threaded retainer ring. The retainer does not bear on the flanged end so the flanged end is retained for free rotation inside the swivel cavity. Thusly retained, it is free to swivel through a 360 degree arc. A lifting loop is mounted to the free end of the hoist head.

  • Patent number: 5979954
Abstract: An improved safety hoist ring assembly. Fewer and simpler parts are used in the assembly, as compared with the prior art safety hoist rings. It can be easily assembled and disassembled without the use of tools. The assembly includes a lift stud member, a bushing member, a retainer element, a U-bar member and a clevis pin element. The cylindrical bearing surface of the lift stud member is axially received in and retained within the central bore of the bushing member by the retainer element. The external diameter of the retainer element is less than the external diameter of the bushing member. The retainer element is thus sized to pass through any bore in an object to which the bushing member is to be attached. The external surface of the bushing member is provided with some mounting mechanism, such as a thread, which mounts the bushing to an object which is to be lifted.

  • Patent number: 5848815
Abstract: For lifting loads there is provided an eyebolt with an annular ring swivelly mounted on a stud so as to freely rotate in a horizontal plane through a full 360 degrees. A lifting loop has oppositely disposed pivot pins in swivel engagement with the annular ring to allow the loop to pivot in a vertical arc as well as to rotate about the stud. The stud in turn is adapted to be anchored in fixed position to the load, whatever the load may be. Circumferential grooves are cut in the solid pivot pins adjacent the ends thereof. The pivot pins are received in a diametric bore in the retention ring. Bores in the body of the retention ring are positioned to align with the circumferential grooves. Solid dowel elements inserted in these bores engage with the circumferential grooves and retain the pivot pins assembled with the retention ring.

  • Patent number: 5746552
Abstract: An adjustable depth drill bushing assembly in which the concentricity of the drill bushing and the mounting bushing is maintained by providing flat cylindrical mating surfaces between the drill bushing and mounting bushing, even when threads are present in the mating area. Cooperating structure is provided between the two bushings which permits both precise axial adjustment and rigid interengagement. The drill bushing is adapted to move axially of the mounting bushing in the released configuration, and is rigidly locked in place in the engaged configuration.
