    Abstract: A snug fitting tactical load bearing vest having a left and a right vest section with a slide fastener for connecting together a portion of the front edges of the vest sections. The rear edges of the vest sections are adjustably connected in accordance with the fit of the wearer. Hook and mesh fastening means are used to secure supply pouches to the vest. Each of the pouches has a rearwardly mounted web with button portions of snap fasteners secured to the web and the posts thereof secured to the vest.
