The mounting assembly is movable in a first direction and in a second direction opposite the first direction. At least one resiliently deformable spring member is provided for storing energy therein responsive to a motion of the mounting assembly in the second direction. Energy stored in the spring member is usable to urge the mounting assembly and the associated material in the first direction.

The display apparatus may comprise a storage area; a display area adjoining the storage area; a product exhibit device for supporting at least one product, the product exhibit device being movable between a display position at least substantially within the display area, and a storage position within the storage area; a consumer-product interface for temporarily receiving at least one product removed from the product exhibit device; a movable storage area cover for separating the display area and the storage area; and a digital identification system configure for at least one of: controlling access to the display area; controlling a position of the product exhibit device; conducting an inventory including the at least one product; and monitoring a proximity of the at least one product.

Abstract: An animated decoy comprising a generally hollow decoy body having an inner surface wherein a freely movable self-contained decoy movement device is placed in a predetermined location within the decoy body for random movement therein. The movement device randomly impacts the inner surface of the decoy body causing the decoy body to move in a predetermined manner. A generally flexible support rod having first and second ends is provided for flexibly and pivotally supporting the decoy body a predetermined distance above the ground. The first end of the support rod engages the decoy body while the second end is inserted a predetermined distance into the ground. In operation, the support rod is flexibly responsive to the movement of the decoy body. As alternative embodiments of the present invention, the decoy movement device is attached directly to the support rod or is secured between the sidewalls of the decoy body.

Abstract: A display case for jewelry or the like, having glazed front and top windows into a display space typically having a lockable mirrored sliding door back wall and a fabric-covered floor pad above an obscured storage space, has a shell construction mounted in the case so that it extends from end to end of the case in the upper front corner. The shell construction includes two opposed channels in which reflector panels mounting lamp holders for a requisite number of single base compact fluorescent lamps are slidingly received so as to form with the shell construction the hypotenuse of a triangular space serving as a raceway for the wiring of the lamp holders. At one end the collected wiring is directed down through a groove or raceway formed in or on one of the endwalls of the case, and into the obscured storage or base region of the case. Here, the wiring connects with a ballast assembly for the lamps.
