Patent number: 11950784Abstract: Described here are devices for closing one or more tissues, and handles for controlling these devices. Generally, the devices described here comprise a snare loop assembly, wherein the snare loop assembly comprises a snare and a suture loop, and a handle for controlling the snare loop assembly. In some variations the snare loop assembly may comprise a retention member that may releasably connect the suture loop to the snare. In other variations the devices comprise one or more force-reducing suture locks to help prevent the suture loop from inadvertently disengaging from the snare loop assembly. In still other variations, the excess-suture management features. The handles described here may be configured to remove excess suture from a suture loop, and may also be configured to release the suture loop from the snare loop assembly.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2020Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: AtriCure, Inc.Inventors: Gregory W. Publication number: 20240080647Abstract: A system for interoperating and communicating data from a device having a communications gateway and at least one tactical device connected to an electrified rail providing electrical power. The system includes at least one processor, and at least one non-transitory computer-readable data storage device storing data instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to receive an event from the device, determine whether the event triggers a workflow, and execute an action on the device in response to the workflow being triggered.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 28, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Applicant: T-Worx Holdings, LLCInventors: Jeffrey R. Patent number: 11915039Abstract: A method for identifying a second device by a first device for establishing a communication between the first device and the second device is described here. The method includes receiving, by a processor of a first device, a voice command from a worker in a workplace. In an example, the method comprises pausing, by the processor, a workflow operation executing on the first device. The method further comprises performing, by the processor, a voice recognition to analyze the voice command of the worker. The method includes activating, by the processor, a communication module of the first device based on the voice recognition, to identify a second device in proximity to the first device. The method includes terminating, by the processor, a connection between the first device and the wearable electronic device. Thus, terminating, by the processor, a second connection of the first device with the second device.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2023Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: VOCOLLECT, INC.Inventors: Gary W. Miller, Graham P. Byrne

Patent number: 6321779Abstract: A regulator for regulating outlet pressure of a fluid supplied to the regulator from a fluid source includes a body having an inlet, and a pressure regulating chamber disposed in the body. A high pressure fluid circuit extends between the inlet and the pressure regulating chamber for transmitting the fluid from the inlet to the pressure regulating chamber. The high pressure fluid circuit includes at least two longitudinally extending high pressure passages in fluid communication with each other. One longitudinally extending high pressure passage transmits the fluid in a first direction, and another longitudinally extending high pressure passage transmits the fluid in a second direction different than the first direction.Type: GrantFiled: August 18, 2000Date of Patent: November 27, 2001Assignee: Veritek NGV, Corp.Inventors: Gary W Miller, Thomas Dean Barker, Sathish Atluri, Garth J Schultz, Stephen A Carter

Patent number: 4298290Abstract: A system for first justifying a text line according to a system minimum escapement unit, and then rejustifying the line according to a minimum escapement unit for a printer which is to be utilized in printing the line. The first justification of the line is in a normal manner. That is, any residue is divided by the number of word spaces on the line to obtain a quotient and any remainder. The extent of word space expansion is then the value of the quotient plus the remainder until exhausted. Rejustification for the printer being utilized is accomplished by dividing each system justified word space size by the printer minimum escapement unit to obtain a new quotient and remainder. Each system justified word space is then converted to a value including the obtained quotient for each space, and the remainders for all spaces are accumulated for adding to the first word space.Type: GrantFiled: June 16, 1980Date of Patent: November 3, 1981Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Johnny G.
