  • Patent number: 11854544
Abstract: Voice product search requests in a product catalog are improved by identifying search refinements versus new search requests and by applying filters of departments to identify sub-sets of the product catalog to search based on the search string. The systems and methods described herein provide for analysis of voice search data, identification of departments within a product catalog that may be applicable to the search request and the search refinement, limiting the scope of the search, matching the voice input to an attribute type, and performing the refinement on the search results.

  • Patent number: 11816712
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for determining a synthetic audible utterance regarding a product, processing the audible utterance via a catalog service to determine a result and determining the relevance of the result and/or success of the catalog service for benchmarking, marketing, and catalog service improvement purposes. The audible utterance may be based on the product and/or product information as well as an intended action to be performed by the catalog service corresponding to the synthetic utterance. A relevance score may be generated using an embedding algorithm to determine the accuracy and/or appropriateness of the action performed by the catalog service.

  • Publication number: 20170171275
Abstract: A system is provided for embedding and presenting objects in multimedia content in real-time. A computer processor provides a multimedia layer that facilitates display of multimedia content. A second computer processor provides an object layer contemporaneously with the multimedia layer, where the object layer is configured to displays one or more objects and to receive one or more commands to insert one or more additional objects. • Publication number: 20110165919
Abstract: A radiotelephone module (100) is detachably connected with another substrate (300) or structure within, for example, a handheld radiotelephone device (1100). The radiotelephone module includes radio frequency transceiver circuitry (104) and power management circuitry (108) mounted on the substrate that is coupled to a physical connection interface such as a connector (106). The power management circuitry (108) is operative to receive battery charging feedback signals (312) from off substrate battery power regulator circuitry (302), such as battery charging regulators that are located on the other substrate (300), and provide battery charging control signals (314) via the connector (106) to the off substrate battery power regulator circuitry (302). The radiotelephone module (100) may be small and detachably plugged into differing handheld radiotelephone devices that may be of differing form factors to allow a modular subassembly to be used among differing wireless radiotelephone handheld devices.

  • Publication number: 20070067954
Abstract: A collapsible housing including a first housing having a magnetic member (108) carried by the first housing (110). A slide enabling member (104) is rotatably coupled to the first housing by a hinge (102), the slide enabling member rotating about a rotation axis (106) of the hinge and, the slide enabling member extending radially from the rotation axis. A second housing (120) is slideably coupled to the slide enabling member such that the second housing slides along the slide enabling member. The housing further includes an engaging member (112) carried by the second housing and selectively engageable to the magnetic member. A first urging member (118) is coupled between the first housing and the slide enabling member, the first urging member urging the slide enabling member to rotate about the rotation axis relative to the first housing.

  • Publication number: 20050282593
Abstract: Folding wireless communication devices incorporate a two-part housing, which includes a first part that is rotatably coupled to a second part. The overall depth of the device is reduced by adjusting the mechanical layout and component placement relative to one another, wherein previously stacked components have been reordered. More specifically, the hinge, the battery, and the communication and control circuitry have been organized so as to be in the same horizontal plane, and so as to not overlap in a vertical direction.

  • Publication number: 20050225912
Abstract: Protection is provided against electrical surges resulting from Electrical Over Stress conditions, e.g., when interfacing circuits with powered connections. An EOS shunt is activated for as long as the EOS condition exists. EOS protection using an EOS shunt in accordance with the principles of the present invention remains activated by a voltage threshold trigger as long as necessary. In a disclosed embodiment, an EOS shunt includes a voltage threshold detector that detects a voltage on a power bus with respect to a ground rail exceeding a predetermined amount, e.g., 5 volts in a device powered at 3.3 volts. During the EOS event, a path between power and ground comprising a transistor is turned on.
