  • Patent number: 8944387
Abstract: An electrical device not only controls train signals as trains advance, but also alters the voltage in the tracks leading up to the signals so that the trains will actually stop at a red signal, slow at an amber aspect and continue on at full speed when the signal is showing green. The electrical device of the present invention can change the “block signal” from “green” to “red”, thereby signaling the engineer behind the train to come to a stop. In addition, the electrical device can simultaneously change the voltage in the tracks to stop the approaching train at the red signal. Only when the forward train has cleared will the approaching train get a clear signal and voltage to resume its forward progress.

  • Publication number: 20140228797
Abstract: A baby wipe device is disclosed that attaches baby wipes to individual diapers, holding them in an easily accessible pouch. The baby wipe device comprises a diaper component, a pocket component secured to the diaper component, and a plurality of wipe components positioned within the pocket component. The pocket component comprises a hollow interior and an opening formed therein, which defines an access to and from the hollow interior. The plurality of wipe components are positioned within the hollow interior for easy access by the user. The plurality of wipe components are formed of a liquid absorbent material and are sufficiently soft in texture to be applied to the skin of an infant or child. Typically, the pocket component comprises a pull-back seal which covers the opening. A user would pull-back the seal and reach into the opening to remove wipe components as needed.

  • Patent number: 7761463
Abstract: A medical check-in and data communication kiosk for efficiently checking-in patients at a medical facility and/or exchanging relevant data with the patient. A patient automatically provides initial identification information by swiping, scanning, etc., an I.D. card and the kiosk then accesses various legacy database systems to gather all relevant medical data corresponding to the particular patient. The patient is requested to verify and/or update any third party payer information, such as insurance information, and is also informed of suggested preventive healthcare actions.

  • Patent number: 4577726
Abstract: A sailboat mast ladder, for use with a sailboat having a mast with a sail track extending along its length, includes a flexible, flat support strap having a number of foot loops, also made of flat strap material, at staggered positions on opposite sides of the support strap. The support strap and foot loops are formed from first and second flat straps each having alternating straight sections and foot loop sections, the foot loop sections of one strap being opposite the straight sections of the other strap. The bottom or instep portions of the foot loops are reinforced with flat strap material secured to the first and second flat straps. An end of a halyard is secured to the upper end of the support strap to raise the mast ladder up the mast. A number of guides are secured along the inner edge of the support strap for sliding engagement with track slides of the main sail track to keep the ladder against the mast.
