The receptacle includes a base and defines a cavity for receiving an end of the elongated support member. Each lateral flap has a rear side for engaging the surface and a front side. Desirably, the receptacle includes a pair of opposed first walls defining the cavity and extending generally perpendicular to the opposed first walls, and the lateral flaps are associated with the opposed first walls. The receptacle may include a ramp wedge adjacent the channel for facilitating engagement of the elongated support member with the device.
