Abstract: A system and method are described to identify risks and assess the efficacy and safety associated with drug, biologic, nutritional, medical food and medical device therapies throughout the treatment development process. The data measured are evaluated in relation to a patient's specific physiologic state (for example, data collected throughout a biological cycle) to determine the attribution to specific organ systems, functions or mechanisms, and are reported within this context. Further, the system and method enable real time access and entry of patient data stored in a centralized database via the internet or other computing device.

Abstract: Assessment of clinical trial data collected at different clinical trial sites is centralized to reduce statistical variance in clinical trial data. Secure network locations for collection of clinical trial assessment data are connected with a central clinical data management server and associated database. The clinical trial assessment data received from different clinical trial sites are assessed centrally using the clinical data management server. In some embodiments, a remote clinician is enabled to cooperate with clinical trial subjects in the collection of clinical trial assessment data.

Abstract: In a clinical trial program screening method, potential clinical trial candidates are driven to a screening website by, for example, banner ads, text messages, or other electronic advertisements. When a respondent clicks the advertisement, a multiple level screening method is conducted to screen qualified candidates for participation in a clinical trial program. Diagnostic, demographic and/or geographic data are collected from respondents and used to screen for predetermined clinical trial participation criteria. The effectiveness of the recruitment method is periodically evaluated and optimized to realize maximal recruitment efficiency.

Abstract: Methods for centralized data management for electronic patient data in clinical care and multicenter clinical trials are Web-based. The methods provide secure access to proprietary documents that provide standard operating procedures (SOPs) that may be used for the collection, processing, transfer, and storage of clinical trial data. The methods may also provide access to other functions, such as those that enable data upload, data download, data review, reports, and account management. Customizable reports, such as Executive Narrative Summary Reports, may be generated in accordance with some embodiments.

The healthcare information accessible to Internet users at the Website may include information regarding medical or psychiatric disorders, including overviews of disorders, their incidence and prevalence, and their symptoms, pathophysiology, consequences, and treatments. General information regarding the diagnosis of conditions may be presented. The expanded tube's lumen defines an unobstructed airway, and thus maintains upper airway patency. The nasal-oropharyngeal tube can be used as a treatment of nasal-oropharyngeal obstructions, sleep apnea, and other related disorders.
