  • Publication number: 20230198405
Abstract: An integrated circuit including a buck converter having an integrator and a shunt resistor is described. The buck converter may operate in a continuous conduction mode (CCM) and a discontinuous conduction mode (DCM). The integrator may be coupled to the buck converter to generate an output voltage based on adjustment of a detected voltage across a load of the buck converter within range of a reference voltage. The shunt resistor may be coupled to the integrator configured to maintain the output voltage of the integrator during the DCM.

  • Publication number: 20230108987
Abstract: A power converter includes a plurality of power stages configured to generate an output current that has an output voltage, based on an input current that as an input voltage. The plurality of power stages comprises a first power stage and one or more additional power stages. The power converter also includes a control circuit coupled to the plurality of power stages. The control circuit is configured to periodically turn on each of the plurality of power stages. The control circuit determines a respective time delay between turning on the first power stage and turning on each of the one or more additional power stages based on a switching time-period of the first power stage.

Abstract: A power converter includes a plurality of power stages configured to generate an output current that has an output voltage based on an input current that as an input voltage a control circuit coupled to the plurality of power stages. The control circuit is configured to control operation of the plurality of power stages. The control circuit includes a plurality of constant-on-time loops for the plurality of power stages. The power converter is configured to operate in a single-phase mode or a multiphase mode. A first power stage of the plurality of power stages supports a continuous conduction mode and a discontinuous conduction mode when the power converter operates in the single-phase mode.

  • Patent number: 10931194
Abstract: A system, DC-DC converter, and compensation method and circuit for a DC-DC converter are disclosed. For example, a compensation circuit for a DC-DC converter is disclosed. The compensation circuit includes an integrator circuit configured to receive and integrate a first voltage signal, a differential difference amplifier circuit coupled to the integrator circuit and configured to generate a first filter transfer function associated with the integrated first voltage signal, and a switched capacitor filter circuit coupled to the differential difference amplifier circuit and configured to generate a second filter transfer function, wherein the differential difference amplifier is further configured to output a second voltage signal responsive to the first filter transfer function and the second filter transfer function. In one implementation, the compensation circuit is a type-III switched capacitor filter (SCF) compensation circuit.

  • Patent number: 10417396
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a mechanism for a multi-tenant platform operator (or a developer or publisher of an application or an extension to an existing platform application) to control the access and functionality available within the application or extension on an account specific basis, based on the subscription license terms applicable to each account/customer. Embodiments of the invention enable a more practical and efficient management of access controls and functionality for a relatively large customer base, where certain accounts, customers, or users may be entitled to a different or at least partially different set of rights and functionality.

  • Publication number: 20190131875
Abstract: The present embodiments relate generally to DC-DC converters, and more particularly to methods and apparatuses for preservation of phase-interleaving in a hysteretic multiphase buck controller. In one or more embodiments, a notch filter is placed in the compensation loop. The notch frequency can be adjusted to match the switching frequency of the controller, and automatically tuned to account for changes to the switching frequency introduced by controller RC components. According to additional aspects, phase interleaving is preserved even during large duty cycles.

  • Patent number: 10228974
Abstract: Systems and methods to identify to iteratively accomplish a complex task by mapping the complex task into a series of smaller tasks and then to reduce the task by executing one or more of the smaller tasks. Such a system ensures that a user does not have to be familiar with the operational environment of the platform (governance rules, architecture, and the like) when scripting tasks. Instead, the user can concentrate on the logic or purpose of the task, and various embodiments of the system will “intelligently” process/execute the task in the most efficient way, without violating the governance constraints imposed on users or accounts as part of the multi-tenant environment. Among other benefits, this approach permits users to more efficiently describe desired tasks and hence to more effectively utilize the platform.

  • Patent number: 9727861
Abstract: A multiple currency rate consolidator addresses the needs of multi-national companies that do business in different currencies and tax localities. A consolidated view of financial data may be provided in real time. The multiple currency rate consolidator allows each subsidiary within a subsidiary hierarchy to enter and manage transactional data as well as budget/forecast data in a corresponding localized functional currency. The multiple currency rate consolidator allows different consolidation levels to view localized, consolidated values of subsidiary transactions. The multiple currency rate consolidator also accommodates statutory, ad hoc and management reporting consolidation using different subsidiary configurations for the same time periods, as well as the versioning of the subsidiary hierarchy to accommodate structural changes across different time periods.
