    Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for generating net energy by converting the natural pressure of atmospheric air into kinetic energy, which is then converted to mechanical energy by a turbine, which can then be converted to electric energy through a generator. The method relies on natural physical phenomena such as Entrainment, Inducement and the Venturi Effect to increase the mass and velocity of air flowing through an enclosed chamber without increasing the amount of energy consumed to increase the air flow mass and velocity. A turbine-generator apparatus connected to the chamber is driven by the air flow to generate electric power which is greater than the power consumed to generate the initial air flow. Power is generated through extraction of kinetic energy from natural atmospheric air pressure energy.

    Abstract: An energy storage device is proposed that utilizes acceleration of particles to near relativistic velocities to store energy in the kinetic energy of accelerated particles. Designs and models are provided for a commercially feasible device that implements the concept. The device allows tremendous performance capabilities across many parameters including energy density. Multiple innovations are also proposed for methods to reconvert the kinetic energy of accelerated particles back to electricity. In addition, certain innovations are proposed for accelerated particle beam control, beam particle designs and beam confinement rings. The device is different from existing particle collider storage rings in that it maximizes total beam energy, not energy per particle by accelerating particles to velocities substantially less than the speed of light.

    Abstract: A system is provided for allowing collaboration among users while they conduct information searches. The system allows users to share their search queries and see what other users are searching for. This is accomplished by copying the search queries of users to a message board type activity stream where a user can see other users' search queries. In the process it allows users to help other users by providing guidance and additional information on their queries or in other ways by responding to other users' search queries. Additionally, a system is provided to allow users to discover other users who are searching for the same information concurrently, and a system that shows other users that the current user has included in his or her sharing network who have previously searched for the same information.
