  • Publication number: 20220150574
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for classifying, based on most recent information associated with recorded content, the recorded content to an appropriate deletion classifier. A media guidance application may receive information about an event that is associated with a recorded media asset. The media guidance application may determine, based on the event and a current deletion classifier associated with the recorded media asset, whether the current deletion classifier associated with the recorded media asset needs to be updated to a new deletion classifier. The media guidance application may make this determination by accessing a deletion classification database containing rules for classifying recorded media assets into a variety of deletion classifiers.

  • Patent number: 11309005
Abstract: The disclosed MTJ read circuits include a current steering element coupled to the read path. At a first node of the current steering element, a proportionally larger current is maintained to meet the requirements of a reliable voltage or current sensing. At a second node of the current steering element, a proportionally smaller current is maintained, which passes through the MTJ structure. The current at the first node is proportional to the current at the second node such that sensing the current at the first node infers the current at the second node, which is affected by the MTJ resistance value.

  • Patent number: 11301540
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for refining the accuracy of network searches by supplementing existing keywords and key phrases in an e-commerce catalog or other database with aggregated and analyzed additional, external data. The internet or another network can be crawled for identifiers which point to entries in the catalog or other database, and, subject to third-party use restrictions, data and metadata can be extracted to enrich the existing keywords and key phrases. The extracted external content may be processed by machine learning techniques in order to find similar entries in the original catalog or database. Categorizing and indexing the entries further improves search recall, including clustering via processing word embeddings.

  • Patent number: 11266842
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed in which an external device such as a consumer mobile device (e.g., smart phone) is used as an external controller to bi-directionally communicate with an Implantable Medical Device (IMD) using a dedicated patient remote control (RC) as an intermediary device to translate communications between the two. The dedicated RC contains a graphical user interface allowing for control and monitoring of the IMD even if the mobile device is not present in the system, which is useful as a back-up should the mobile device experience problems. Use of the dedicated RC as an intermediary device broadens the utility of other computing devices to operate as an external controller for an IMD even if the computing device and IMD do not have compliant communication means.

  • Patent number: 11263184
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for partition splitting in a distributed database are disclosed. A partition of data is split into a first sub-partition and a second sub-partition. A first portion of the data is assigned to the first sub-partition, and a second portion of the data is assigned to the second sub-partition. One or more elements of the first portion of the data from the partition and an additional one or more elements of the first portion of the data from the first sub-partition are stored into a first node. One or more elements of the second portion of the data from the partition and an additional one or more elements of the second portion of the data from the second sub-partition are stored into a second node. The partition is prevented from receiving new data after the partition is split into the first and second sub-partitions.

  • Patent number: 11258803
Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards a system and method for a cloud-based front end that may abstract and enable access to the underlying cloud-hosted elements and objects that may be part of a multi-tenant application, such as a search application. Search objects may be employed to access indexed objects. An amount of indexed data accessible to a user may be based on an index storage limit selected by the user, such that data that exceeds the index storage limit may continue to be indexed. Also, one or more projects can be elastically scaled for a user to provide resources that may meet the specific needs of each project.

  • Patent number: 11256719
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for ingestion partition auto-scaling in a time-series database are disclosed. A first set of one or more hosts divides elements of time-series data into a plurality of partitions. A second set of one or more hosts stores the elements of time-series data from the plurality of partitions into one or more storage tiers of a time-series database. An analyzer receives first data indicative of the resource usage of the time-series data at the first set of one or more hosts. The analyzer receives second data indicative of the resource usage of the time-series data at the second set of one or more hosts. Based at least in part on analysis of the first data and the second data, the analyzer initiates a split of an individual one of the partitions into two or more partitions.

  • Publication number: 20220050956
Abstract: A document recommendation system provides a set of documents to a user to complete an automotive transaction between an automotive dealership and a customer. The system stores documents for completing automotive transactions over a wide range of transaction attributes. The store includes base documents and secondary documents. Base documents are used for all transactions. Secondary documents are transaction specific and are based on attribute details of the transaction. After the transaction attributes are received, the system selects a set of base documents and a set of secondary documents. The system may select the secondary documents according to a predefined set of rules. After both sets of documents are selected, the system populates fields of the documents with values using the received transaction attributes. The populated documents are then provided to the user of the document recommendation system for review.

  • Publication number: 20220046102
Abstract: A trained model and/or an edge client running on an edge device may obtain data from a data source (e.g., a security video camera) and determine, based on a result of processing the data using the model, whether to send an indication of an upcoming data/video stream to the provider network (e.g., indicating a bearer modification). The received indication may be used by the provider network to send a request to a serving wireless infrastructure (e.g., telco operator/wireless mobile core) for configuration of one or more resources on behalf of the edge device to process the upcoming data stream. The received indication may be used by the provider network in order to configure one or more resources at the provider network to process the upcoming data stream. The edge device initiates transmission of the data stream from the data source to the provider network via the serving wireless infrastructure.

  • Publication number: 20210377123
Abstract: Aspects of the technology provide solutions for determining a time period (“epoch”) required to monitor or analyze a tenant network. Some implementations of the technology include a process for making automatic epoch determinations, which includes steps for identifying one or more network parameters for a tenant network, analyzing the tenant network using the network parameters to discover one or more configuration settings of the tenant network, and determining a first epoch for the tenant network, the first epoch corresponding with a period of time to complete analysis of the tenant network using the network parameters. In some aspects, the process can further include steps for generating a tenant profile for the tenant network, the tenant profile based on the network parameters, the first epoch, and the one or more configuration settings of the tenant network. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11169839
Abstract: Specialized, service optimized virtual machines are assigned to handle specific types of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. An IoT context mapping policy engine within the context of a virtualized network function manages IoT context mapping policy functions in load balancers. The IoT context mapping policy functions select service optimized virtual machines based on IoT device IDs, and assign those virtual machines to handle the devices. The IoT context mapping policy functions provide load data to the IoT context mapping policy engine. Based on the load data, the IoT context mapping policy engine maintains appropriate scaling by creating or tearing down instances of the virtual machines.
