  • Patent number: 11969506
Abstract: The disclosure features novel lipids and compositions involving the same. Nanoparticle compositions include an ionizable lipid, a phospholipid, a first sterol or a tocopherol, and optionally a second sterol different from the first sterol. Nanoparticle compositions further including therapeutic and/or prophylactics such as RNA are useful in the delivery of therapeutic and/or prophylactics to mammalian cells or organs to, for example, regulate polypeptide, protein, or gene expression.

  • Publication number: 20220001985
Abstract: A touchless system for an aircraft cabin is disclosed. The system includes machine-readable codes placed on passenger seats and other aircraft surfaces that may be scanned and linked to cabin control systems through an application installed on personal portable electronic devices. The system also includes a communication system linked to the personal portable electronic devices via the application and linked to the cabin control systems that facilitates the control of one or more control systems by the personal portable electronic device. One of the cabin control systems is configured as an overhead storage container configured with a gesture sensing system, allowing the storage lid to be opened through specific gestures.

  • Patent number: 10934002
Abstract: An aircraft seat armrest includes an armrest portion and two extension elements coupled to the armrest portion on opposite sides thereof. A first of the two extension elements is rotatable from a first, closed, position where it is disposed below the armrest portion to a second, open, position wherein the first extension element is adjacent to the armrest portion. The arm rest also includes a first locking mechanism disposed on the first extension element that maintains the first extension element in the open position after it has been moved from the closed position to the open position.

  • Patent number: 10716171
Abstract: An aircraft includes an air data sensor and a heating element. The air data sensor includes a probe and transducer coupled to the probe. The heating element is disposed within the probe and is configured to emit heat that heats the probe. The aircraft further comprises a heater control system in signal communication with the heating element and a thermal sensor system. The thermal sensor system is configured to determine the emitted heat from the heating element based on the thermal radiation of heat released from a surface of the probe. In this manner, the heater control system can actively vary the temperature of the heating element based on the emitted heat from the heating element.
