Abstract: A portable air purifier and method includes a collapsible first tube; a perforated firm second tube that houses the first tube; a fan that brings air into a first end of the first tube and pushes the air through the first tube; a multi-part filter arranged in a concentric configuration inside the first tube; an outlet at a second end of the first tube; and a breathing mask coupled to the outlet. The filter filters the air as the air proceeds through the first tube and the outlet discharges filtered air from the first tube to the breathing mask. The first tube and the second tube may be semi-circular to fit around the neck of a user. The filter may be a corrugated filter. The portable air purifier may include a power source electrically connected to the fan.

Abstract: A device to provide sterilized and purified breathable air and to disinfect exhaled air and includes a housing having a first and second opening. The housing includes at least one partition having a plurality of holes, and within the housing such that a plurality of compartments is formed between the first opening and the second opening, and at least one ultraviolet (UV) light source positioned in each of the plurality of compartments. The UV light source is UVC LED lights to emit UVC light of a predefined wavelength within the plurality of compartments to sterilize and purify the air while flowing through the housing. The device includes a mask fluidically coupled to the second opening of the housing using a flexible second pipe to provide the purified air. The device includes one-way valves at the second opening of the housing, and two one-way valves at the outlets of the mask.

Abstract: A computer system includes a database of pathology information for a plurality of patients including at least one current patient; a memory; and a processor configured to identify the at least one second practitioner based on a similarity between the patient-specific pathology of the at least one current patient and the similar patient of the at least one second practitioner; display an indication to the first practitioner that the at least one second practitioner has been identified while keeping the identity of the at least one second practitioner and the similar patient confidential; present the first practitioner with a control to communicate with the at least one second practitioner; receive, from the at least one second practitioner, discrete responses to questions regarding the similar patient; and determine, based on the discrete responses, a recommendation of a treatment for the at least one current patient.

Abstract: A method, system, and database is provided that permits users treating patients with genomic alteration to more easily and effectively exchange information with other users treating patients with similar genomic alterations. In one example, a user may be permitted to assign genomic alteration tags to patients and filter through patients based on the genomic alterations. Additional features, such as automatically identifying, and facilitating communication with, other users that have treated similar patients may be provided to further enhance the user's ability to treat genomic alterations.
