  • Publication number: 20240411465
Abstract: Implementations described herein relate to selective data map unit access. A memory device may receive a request from a host device to access a resource associated with a data map unit. The memory device may identify whether the data map unit is in a locked state or an unlocked state. The data map unit may be in the locked state when another host device currently has exclusive access to the resource or may be in the unlocked state when no other host device currently has exclusive access to the resource. The memory device may selectively grant the host device exclusive access to the resource based on identifying whether the data map unit is in the locked state or the unlocked state.

  • Publication number: 20240411487
Abstract: In order to avoid writing duplicates of blocks of data into a storage platform, any virtual disk within the storage platform may have a de-duplication feature enabled. Or, all virtual disks have this feature enabled. For virtual disks with de-duplication enabled, a unique message digest is calculated for every block of data written to that virtual disk. Upon a write, these message digests are consulted in order to determine if a particular block of data has already been written, if so, it is not written again, and if not, it is written. All de-duplication virtual disks are written to a single system virtual disk within the storage platform. De-duplication occurs over the entire storage platform and over all its virtual disks because all message digests are consulted before a write is performed for any virtual disk. A read for a de-duplication virtual desk reads from the system virtual disk.

  • Publication number: 20240413825
Abstract: A digital frequency synthesizer includes a delay-locked loop (DLL) that generates time-delayed versions of a reference clock signal, a clock divider that executes an integer-division operation on one delayed clock signal to generate an integer-divided clock signal, and control circuitry that generates fractional data for enabling a fractional division. The digital frequency synthesizer further includes a first clock selector that selects one delayed clock signal as a DLL clock signal based on the fractional data, a delay chain that generates time-delayed versions of the DLL clock signal, and a second clock selector that selects one delayed clock signal as a selected clock signal based on the fractional data. A rising edge of the integer-divided clock signal is adjusted based on the selected clock signal to generate a fractional-divided clock signal that is a fractional-divided version of the reference clock signal.

  • Publication number: 20240413357
Abstract: Frame assemblies for use in locating and positioning flow fields in an electrochemical cell stack are provided. The frame assemblies may have a separator plate that is interposed between two frames. The separator plate may have one or more raised features positioned around or on either side of flow field regions of the separator plate that are defined by flow field apertures through the frames. The one or more raised features may extend into corresponding receiving features in one or both frames. The raised feature(s) may thus couple the frames to the separator plate and stiffen the frame assembly so as to prevent or reduce potential flexure of the frames due to pressures that develop within the flow field apertures. Various approaches are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12163984
Abstract: Accurate operation of a current monitor is provided by injecting a bias voltage to a maintain de-selected sense amplifier input in an active state. An electronic system includes an output stage to supply a load current and includes two push-pull output drivers having sense resistors supplying a first and a second sense voltage. An included mode control circuit selects between a first and a second operating mode and selects a polarity of the current. An included current monitor receives the sense voltages and has a control input coupled to the mode selection control circuit. The current monitor provides an output that is dependent on both sense voltages in the first operating mode and is indicative of one of the sense voltages selected according to the selected polarity in the second operating mode. The bias voltage is injected into an unselected sense inputs to maintain active operation of the sense amplifier.
