  • Publication number: 20070154002
Abstract: Systems and methods for creating a call processing control record are disclosed. Generally, a call processing control record generator compares electronic schedule data with stored data to determine whether the electronic schedule data different from the stored data. In response to determining the electronic schedule data differs from the stored data, the call processing control record generator generates a call processing control record including an indication of an announcement to be transmitted to a caller in response to receipt of a call placed to a destination location during a defined time period.

  • Publication number: 20060029201
Abstract: A method and system enable the automatic generation of a call processing control record. A user creates a schedule entry comprising a plurality of data entries on an electronic scheduler. The data entries are transmitted from the electronic scheduler to a call processing control record generator. The data entries are compared with stored data. In response to the data entries, the call processing control record generator generates a call processing control record which can be stored in a call processing control record database. The call processing control record can be used to forward calls or transmit an announcement to the calling party.

  • Publication number: 20050281394
Abstract: A system and method for receiving information regarding a telephony platform and for retrieving the object of the services provided by the telephony platform corresponding to the information received. The system includes a customer premises equipment having a display device and a plurality of function keys. The customer premises equipment is connected to the general switched telephone network and to a supplemental service network via a central office switch. A telephony platform is connected to the general switched telephone network for providing accessory services such as voice mail, electronic mail and facsimile services. When calls are made to the customer premises equipment, an event identifier is generated to identify the calling event. The event identifier may be attached to a message having caller identifier information. The event identifier is used if the user of the customer premises equipment does not answer and the caller is transferred to voice mail.
