Publication number: 20140312842Abstract: A combinational power supply adapter device mainly comprises a connecting seat and different models of battery holster. Symmetrical fasteners and symmetrical through holes are disposed on the connecting seat. A rectifier transformer circuit and sockets are disposed inside the connecting seat. Connecting terminals are disposed on the rectifier transformer circuit, and the connecting terminals are exposed from the through holes. Symmetrical electric conduction plates are disposed inside the battery holster. When using the combinational power supply adapter device, different models of batteries can be placed inside the battery holster with a shape corresponding to that of the batteries, the battery holster can be engaged and positioned above the connecting seat by the fastening of the fasteners, and the batteries can be recharged or used for providing electricity through the connecting terminals and the rectifier transformer circuit.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 18, 2013Publication date: October 23, 2014Inventors: CHUNG-HSIN LEE, GAVIN MCCALLA

Publication number: 20130229103Abstract: A lamp device having first and second ends comprising a glass lens positioned on the first end of the lamp and a socket positioned on the second end of the lamp. The lamp is configured with a parabolic reflecting surface lining the interior side walls of a top portion of the lamp and an array of LEDs or other light emitting device positioned within that the top portion of the lamp. The array of LEDs or other light emitting device are operatively connected to the socket in order to receive power. The lamp may also be configured to facilitate movement of the glass lens closer to and further away from the array of LEDs or other light emitting device in order to shorten or lengthen the focal point of the light beam created by the array of LEDs or other light emitting device.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 21, 2013Publication date: September 5, 2013Applicant: INNOVX GROUP LLCInventors: William R. Lutz, Gavin McCalla

Publication number: 20090090403Abstract: A motorized umbrella fan whereby a motor drives the rotation of an umbrella assembly, which is comprised of an umbrella skeleton and a canopy, stretched over the skeleton. The canopy functions as a sunshade and plurality of fan blades each of triangular shape radially extending from a hub. A leading edge of each of the plurality of blades has a unshaped portion that is attached to a trailing edge of a preceding blade in a manner that creates vertical spacing between the leading edge and trailing edge of adjacent blades. This creates a slope within each fan blade and a channel between adjacent blades through which air flows. The air flow pushes stale hot air from underneath the canopy, providing a cooling breeze.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 8, 2008Publication date: April 9, 2009Applicant: INNOVX GROUP LLCInventor: Gavin McCalla

Patent number: 6419371Abstract: A lighted tool including a handle member, which has a distal end adapted to engage a blade member or other implement. A light module has a light source capable of producing a beam of light and the light module is of a size to be complementarily received within the bore of the handle member so that the light source illuminates the blade member engaged with the distal end of the handle member. The light module is preferably detachably secured within the bore of the handle member, such as by complementarily threaded surfaces, so that the light module is insertable into the bore and removable therefrom. Thus, the light module can be either used to illuminate the blade member and work piece when disposed within the bore of the handle member or used independently as a conventional flash light.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2000Date of Patent: July 16, 2002Assignee: Ovation Group, Inc.Inventors: Gavin McCalla, William R. Lutz

Patent number: 6364500Abstract: A lighted handle including a handle member, which has a distal end adapted to complementarily engage a desired tool and which defines a bore longitudinally extending along at least a portion of its length, and a light module, or flashlight. The light module has a light source capable of producing a beam of light and the light module is of a size to be complementarily received within the bore of the handle member so that the light source illuminates the tool attached to the distal end of the handle member. The light module is detachably secured within the bore of the handle member, such as by complementarily threaded surfaces, so that the light module is insertable into the bore and removable therefrom. Thus, the light module can be either used to illuminate the tool when disposed within the bore of the handle member or used independently as a conventional light module.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 1999Date of Patent: April 2, 2002Assignee: McCalla CompanyInventors: Gavin McCalla, William R. Patent number: 6296365Abstract: A lighted hand tool, such as a lighted plier tool, including first and second plier members and a light source. Each plier member having a handle portion, a jaw portion, and a pivot section being intermediate the handle portion and the jaw portion for each plier member. The second plier member pivotally mounted relative to the pivot section of the first plier member at the pivot section of the second plier member for being pivotable relative to the first plier member. The handle portion of the first plier member defining a bore longitudinally extending along at least a portion of the length of the handle portion, the bore having a bore front end near the first pivot section. The light source is disposed within the bore of the handle portion adjacent the bore front end and is capable of producing a beam of light. Thus, the light source is energized from a power means, the beam of light produced by the light source is in communication with at least one portion of the first and second plier members.Type: GrantFiled: February 4, 2000Date of Patent: October 2, 2001Assignee: McCalla CompanyInventors: Gavin McCalla, William R.
