  • Patent number: 11449676
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated document graphing are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for automated document graphing may include: (1) receiving, from a document repository, a plurality of source documents; (2) extracting text from each of the plurality of source documents; (3) cleaning the extracted text by removing unnecessary characters from the extracted text; (4) rewriting multi-word proper nouns in the extracted text; (5) converting a plurality of words in the extracted text to lemma form; (6) rewriting compound terms in the extracted text; (7) removing stop words from the extracted text; (8) representing each of the remaining words in the extracted text as a vector; and (9) storing the vectors in a library.

  • Patent number: 11151310
Abstract: A method for capturing documentation information is provided. The method includes: receiving an input that relates to a regulatory body; identifying at least one jurisdiction that applies regulations in connection with the regulatory body; extracting, from a source database, at least one publication that includes information that relates to the regulations; formatting the regulations-related information from the extracted publications into a predetermined format; and outputting the formatted information to a computer display.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 19, 2021
    Assignee: JPMORGAN CHASE BANK, N.A.
Inventors: John Cole Downs, Gavin Ramsey, Murugan Reddi
  • Patent number: 11074278
Abstract: Methods, non-transitory machine readable media, and search engine devices are disclosed that annotate documents based on concepts and a generated composite score for each of the concepts. The concepts have an association with terms included in the documents. A query that includes at least one of the terms is received, and an associated concept and at least one additional related concept are identified in order to expand the query. The identified concepts are then applied to the annotated documents to generate a search result in response to the expanded query. This technology advantageously facilitates improved automated searching (e.g., across dialects and languages) and enables improved search result faceting.
