  • Patent number: 12084949
Abstract: A system to be used with one or more well slots in an oil and gas operation is disclosed. At least one manifold is associated with the one or more well slots and with first passage-ways for the one or more well slots. An intervention subsystem includes second passage-ways and a path selector valve. The path selector valve is selectable to associate together at least two of the second passage-ways, which enables a maintenance action to be performed for an intended well slot of the one or more well slots.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 22, 2022
Date of Patent: September 10, 2024
Assignee: Baker Hughes Energy Technology UK Limited
Inventors: Gavin Reilly, Peter Welsh, Lee Mainprize

  • Patent number: 6817418
Abstract: A subsea wellhead (10) includes annulus pressure monitoring and bleed down ports (32, 34, 36) whereby excessive pressure may be detected and bled off to a production controls or workover controls system via an electro/hydraulic jumper (58). A valve block (44) bolted to the wellhead (10) includes pressure transducers (52, 54, 56) and isolation valves (46, 48, 50). Excessive annulus pressures and hence damage to the completion program may thereby be avoided in HPHT subsea well applications.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 4, 2002
Date of Patent: November 16, 2004
    Assignee: FMC Technologies, Inc.

  • Patent number: 6345668
Abstract: A tubing hanger having two actuators 34, 70 disposed at opposite ends of a valve gate 28, to provide pressure balancing. Each actuator has a piston 36 acted on by a hydraulic fluid supplied to sealed spaces 54, 60 through ports 62, 66, 76, 74. Ports 66, 74 may be linked to prevent the two pistons from being forced apart by line pressure leaking from the passage 12 into cavity 72. A single actuator may be used for low pressure applications. A bias spring 68 provides fail safe closure of the valve gate 28.
