  • Publication number: 20260113817
Abstract: A microwave oven includes a housing defining a cooking cavity and a component cavity external to the cooking cavity and a heating plate fixedly supported within the cooking cavity on a lower surface thereof and including an electric heating element disposed on at least a portion of the heating plate and defining first and second electric contact elements on an underside thereof. A pair of conductive connection elements are mounted within the component cavity and extend through the lower surface of the cooking cavity to define respective ends of the conductive connection elements that are moveable with respect to the lower surface of the cooking cavity and are in contact with the first and second electric contact elements of the heating plate.

  • Publication number: 20250392088
Abstract: An electronic device has a housing with a device interface area. The device interface area includes an electrical connector operatively coupled to the housing, where the first electrical connector includes a first casing that supports blade-style electrical contacts and includes a resilient member that forms a sleeve around the first casing such that the first casing nests within the resilient member. The resilient member is disposed between the casing and the housing. The casing is configured to be movable relative to the housing by reversibly deforming the resilient member.

  • Publication number: 20210366122
Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for segmenting a G-banded adhered chromosome based on a geometrical characteristic and regional fusion, and a chromosome karyotype analysis device. The method first extracts concave points of an outline of an adhered chromosome region, then cuts an adhered chromosome image via a cutting line formed by the concave points in pairs, and at last carries out a fusion operation on a local cut region and selects a most appropriate region as a final single chromosome region. The method implements automatic segmentation of an adhered chromosome and improves the chromosome karyotype analysis efficiency.

  • Patent number: 9308222
Abstract: The present invention provides formulas of elemental compositions encompassing acetate salts of calcium, magnesium and zinc along with vitamin D3. The acetate salts could be extracted from natural sources such as pearls, coral, and oyster or compounded using synthetic materials. The dosage and ratio of calcium to magnesium was estimated using in vitro and in vivo estimations. The dosage for promoting bone health and alleviation of osteoporosis is about a quarter to a third of the conventional dose.

  • Patent number: 9056916
Abstract: An antibody, which specifically recognizes adducts between pyrrole and cellular macromolecules. Such adducts are likely to occur in mammals suffering an incident of pyrrolizidine alkaloid poisoning. The antibody can be produced using a synthetic immunogen conjugated with a pyrrole as a hapten and it can be used, for example in an assay kit and/or by itself, as a novel means for detecting or diagnosing pyrrolizidine alkaloid poisoning both clinics and research laboratories.
    Type: Grant
