  • Patent number: 7236310
Abstract: A device for adjusting the back foci of an objective and a camera to one another has a housing by which a graphic pattern and an optics are mounted at a predetermined distance F? from each other. The temperature compensation for the distance F? is constant to ±2 mm for a temperature change of Delta 20° Celsius. The device also includes an apparatus for matching the back foci of an objective and a camera to each other, in which a housing has a fastening mechanism for fastening an object-side end of the objective and a graphic pattern is arranged in the housing on the end of the device opposite the fastening mechanism. The invention also includes a method for equalizing the back foci of an objective and camera using specific steps.

  • Patent number: 6374712
Abstract: A side milling cutter with cutting inserts, by which side milling cutter a crank pin can be cut with a single feed motion. The plate-shaped cutting inserts are arranged on the periphery of the side milling cutter alternating between the left and right side in a peripheral direction, and are oriented essentially radially with their cover surfaces in relation to the cutter axis, which cover surfaces contain the tool faces. The cutting inserts are also arranged so as to form a gap on the periphery of the cutter which is so narrow that the length of the arc of action between the point of entry and the point of exit of cutting is greater than the half of the gap of the arrangement of cutting inserts on the periphery of the cutter. The present invention also relates to the configuration of the cutting inserts as indexable inserts which can be used on the left and on the right.

  • Patent number: 6231276
Abstract: In addition to having a stop member in the form of a hollow cylinder which is slotted and can be spread by means of an adjustment screw, an adjustable stop for a cutter adjustably arranged in a main casting or body of a tool is also provided with a sleeve member which can be inserted into a longitudinal bore of the stop member. The sleeve member has inside threads which can be brought into engagement with the adjustment screw. This results in an improvement of the load carrying capacity of the threaded connection. Since the sleeve member can move in the adjustment direction, the bending load on the adjustment screw is reduced.

  • Patent number: 5904455
Abstract: A drill with a drill point part that contains the drill cutter and is made of a solid hard material. The drill point part is replacably attached to the end face of a drill shaft. The drill shaft is penetrated by a shaft groove which extends in an axial direction of the shaft to accomodate the drill point part and can center the drill point part in the groove region. The drill shaft has grooves on its periphery which run in the axial direction and extend into the region of the shaft groove and continue into the region of the drill point part. The drill point part can be clamped on its side faces corresponding to and opposite the groove flanks in a force-locking manner by an insertion-clamping fit in the shaft groove.
