  • Patent number: 7701913
Abstract: Embodiments of methods and apparatus for providing a platform coexistence system of multiple wireless communication devices are generally described herein. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 31, 2005
Date of Patent: April 20, 2010
    Assignee: Intel Corporation
Inventors: Camille Chen, Gedon Rosner, Boris Ginzburg
  • Patent number: 7653014
Abstract: Provided are a method, system, and program for configuring a transmission mode between devices. A connection is established with a link partner at a common transmission speed. A duplex mode is set to a first duplex mode. A transmission error rate is monitored with the link partner and the duplex mode is changed to a second duplex mode in response to detecting that the transmission error rate exceeds a threshold.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 18, 2004
Date of Patent: January 26, 2010
    Assignee: Intel Corporation
Inventors: Avi Costo, Gedon Rosner, James M. Ostrowski
  • Patent number: 7546142
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide devices, systems and methods of coordination among wireless transceivers. For example, an apparatus in accordance with an embodiment of the invention includes first and second wireless transceivers, wherein the first wireless transceiver is to enter a non-transmission mode for a pre-defined time period in response to an indication from the second wireless transceiver, and wherein one of the first and second wireless transceivers is to operate in a synchronous network and the other of the first and second wireless transceivers is to operate in a non-synchronous network.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 29, 2005
Date of Patent: June 9, 2009
    Assignee: Intel Corporation
Inventors: Boris Ginzburg, Camille C. Chen, Gedon Rosner

  • Patent number: 7200695
Abstract: Provided are a method, system, and program for processing packets from an Input/Output (I/O) device. Information is maintained indicating a first buffer and second buffer for use with each descriptor, wherein one of the first and second buffers is assigned to the descriptor used by the I/O device, and wherein the I/O device write packets to the buffers assigned to the descriptors. The first buffer including a packet from the I/O device is accessed, wherein the accessed first buffer is assigned to an accessed descriptor. The packet in the accessed first buffer is processed and if the second buffer assigned to the accessed descriptor is available, then information for the accessed descriptor is updated to indicate that the second buffer is assigned to the accessed descriptor before completing the processing of the packet in the first buffer.
