Abstract: A wireless direct radiographic panel for use in a medical imaging system including multiple radiographic exposure units each with different wireless settings, includes wireless settings adapted by moving the panel from one exposure unit to another. The adaptation of the wireless settings is occasioned by an information exchange occurring by moving an NFC tag installed on the panel within the operating range of an NFC tag installed on the workstation of the exposure unit wherein the wireless direct radiographic panel will be used.

Abstract: A method for detecting the presence of a portable direct radiographic panel in a medical imaging system including radiographic exposure stands, each stand and each panel being provided with an NFC tag, includes positioning a panel in an exposure stand such that the NFC tags of the panel and the stand are in each other's operating range, detecting the presence of the panel in the exposure stand by a-communication between the NFC tags, and communicating the presence of the panel in the exposure stand to the medical imaging system.

Abstract: A ball returning device comprising a frame and a net disposed within the frame, wherein the horizonal members of the frame are nonlinear so that the attached net is in two sections having a nonlinear angle therebetween. In an alternate embodiment of the present invention, the net is connected to three upstanding members in a nonlinear alignment so that two sections are formed in the net. The adjacent, nonlinear sections in the net improve the practice quality of the user for such games as tennis.

Abstract: A process for preventing the accumulation of moisture and water in gasoline storage tanks at retail distribution sites and for reclaiming and recycling gasoline vapor that collects in the headspace of gasoline storage tanks at retail service stations comprising sealing the tank against ingress of atmospheric gases, introducing a selected inert gas into the storage tank as the liquid gasoline is extracted therefrom to establish an inert gas/gasoline vapor mixture in the headspace of the storage tank, periodically recovering the inert gas/gasoline vapor mixture from the storage tank, and processing the recovered mixture to condense the gasoline vapor to liquid gasoline, which is removed for subsequent use.
