Abstract: An apparatus for producing core packets used in the foundry industry wherein a plurality of tools for shooting cores are arranged on a rotary table so that the tools can be serially moved between a shooting station and a removal station where the cores are removed and assembled to form core packets on an assembly line. A plurality of shooting caps are provided, each comprising a sand store and a shooting plate, and the shooting caps are mounted on a second rotary table so that they can be selectively moved to the shooting station in coordination with the movement of the tools.
