  • Patent number: 11899262
Abstract: Fiber management assemblies for telecommunications closures. The assembly includes a frame adapted to conform to the wall of a housing piece of a closure. A fiber management tray is pivotally coupled to the frame. The frame supports the tray and spaces the tray away from fiber optic connectors positioned in connector ports defined by the closure. In addition, the pivotability of the tray relative to the frame can provide access to the connectors and/or connector ports without disrupting fiber management on the tray itself.

  • Publication number: 20230384546
Abstract: A fiber loop storage basket for an optical fiber management assembly of a telecommunications closure. The fiber loop storage basket can be mounted to a tower of the assembly that also pivotally supports fiber management trays. The fiber loop storage basket can be constructed of plastic and includes mounting features for securely mounting the fiber loop storage basket to the tower. A metal fiber loop storage basket mounted to the tower can be replaced with a plastic basket according to the present disclosure mounted to the same mounting portion of the tower as the metal fiber loop storage basket.

  • Patent number: 11635573
Abstract: An adapter holder assembly supports one or more optical adapters. The adapter holder includes first and second holding members spaced from each other. Inner sides of the holding members define one or more mounting channels each having a corresponding latching arm. The optical adapters mount to the holder assembly by sliding over the latching arms towards stop surfaces defined by the holding members. In certain implementations, the optical adapter is releasable by applying sufficient force to the optical adapter along a slide axis away from the respective stop surface.

  • Patent number: 9146375
Abstract: A bend radius limiter adapted for installation on a fiber guide is disclosed. In one aspect, the bend radius limiter has a main body with a generally rounded outer surface and an interior surface that defines an interior volume. The main body is also configured with a first slot opening in the generally rounded outer surface that may optionally function as a first or second connecting feature. The bend radius limiter can also include a first connecting feature configured to retain the bend radius limiter onto the fiber guide. In one embodiment, the first connecting feature is located within the interior volume and is radially aligned with the first slot opening.
