    Abstract: Various embodiments of vacuum insulation spacers include supporters comprising crosspiece members formed of insulating material and having rectangular cross section. The spacers have at least three supporting levels. The crosspiece members of each level are positioned so that contact points between crosspiece members of a selected level and an adjacent level on a first side of the selected level do not overlap contact points between crosspiece members of the selected level and an adjacent level on a second side of the selected level.
