  • Patent number: 9593791
Abstract: A pressure washer coupler is provided between the wand and spray nozzle of the pressure washer so that the angle of the spray can be selectively set. The coupler includes male and female quick connectors for the wand and the spray nozzle. A spring biased detent assembly allows one end of the coupler to be rotated 360° relative to the other end of the coupler, with the detent assembly maintaining the ends in a selected position. Thus, the spray can be directed parallel or perpendicular to the wand axis, and to numerous orientations therebetween.

  • Patent number: 7565644
Abstract: A method and system for debugging an executing service on a pipelined CPU architecture are described. In one embodiment, a breakpoint within an executing service is set and a minimum state of the executing service is saved. In addition, a program counter of the executing service is altered. The program counter is restored and the state of the executing service is restored.

  • Publication number: 20080278637
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to a system and method for light source power control. More specifically, there is provided a method of controlling a display device (10) light source (12) comprising intercepting a command to shut down a light source (12) and overriding the command to shut down the light source (12) if the command to shut down the light source (12) is issued before a predetermined time relative to a start of an event.

  • Publication number: 20070246184
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for verifying the treatment of molten metal wherein a sensing device detects an in situ response resulting from the treatment of the molten metal. The in situ response is compared to a pre-set limit or condition in order to determine whether or not proper treatment of the molten metal has occurred. In particular, the sensing device detects an in situ response resulting from the mixture of a molten metal addition to a molten metal. An electronic transformation device can be used to transform the in situ response into a response data set. The response data set can be transmitted to and received by a microprocessor. The microprocessor can manipulate the response data set. The in situ response to the treatment of the molten metal can be in the form of heat, light intensity, light wavelength, density of smoke particles, composition of smoke particles, mechanical vibration and combinations thereof.

  • Publication number: 20060119741
Abstract: A tuning apparatus compensates for temperature-related frequency variations of a filter. According to an exemplary embodiment, the tuning apparatus includes an RF signal source, a tuner, and the filter. The tuner includes a local oscillator and is coupled between the RF signal source and the filter and provides an IF signal for the filter. The tuner also includes a frequency adjustment mechanism for adjusting the frequency of the local oscillator in response to a temperature characteristic of the filter.

  • Patent number: 6923475
Abstract: An ATV trailer with fully-rotatable suspension is provided. The ATV trailer is formed of frame members fabricated of square, metal tubing and welded together to form a framework of rails. A downwardly sloping tongue terminates into a ball hitch coupler being mountable to a hitch of a standard ATV. An I-suspension wheel assembly is provided which includes a wheel assembly bracket with a stub axle being adapted to mountably support an I-beam suspension apparatus. The I-beam suspension apparatus includes an I-member being fully rotatable 360° about the stub axle. Spindles are mounted to the I-member for mountably supporting standard ATV wheels. A metal box-like enclosure of walls forming a water-storage tank is mounted atop the frame members.

  • Patent number: 6375162
Abstract: The disclosed tool (“Trailer Tandem Release Leverage Bar”), is a unique and needed advance for the trucking industry. For use by all Operators (Truckers) that are tasked with adjusting the trailer tandem assembly. The trucking industry produced sliding trailer tandems to provide the ability to balance the vehicle weight accurately between the steering axle, driver axle(s), and the trailer axle(s). The mechanism used to lock the sliding trailer tandems customarily jams for many reasons including being frozen, rusty, or under the weight of the vehicle, and as such is difficult and sometimes impossible to be released or unlatched. Operators have historically had difficulty leaning under the trailer and exerting enough leverage to produce the necessary force to release the latch. The “Trailer Tandem Release Leverage Bar” as a new invention will allow the operator to release the latching pins without physical strain and difficulty.

  • Patent number: 4593334
Abstract: A film transducer head design is formed on a substrate where the first yoke layer and electric terminal strip that connects the coil center pad to the head exterior are formed at the same time followed by successive layers that form the transducer gap, coil insulation, coil, coil insulation and the second yoke layer. This sequence allows the coil to be tested immediately after deposition of the coil material and at a time in the fabrication sequence when it can be reworked or replaced if a discontinuity (open) or shorted turn(s) is (are) identified.
