Abstract: A system and method for efficiently laundering multiple loads of household laundry at commercial facilities. By using the advantages of modules having at least one dirty laundry working surface and at least one clean laundry working surface disposed between at least one washing machine and at least one dryer reduces the inefficiencies associated with previous arrangements. A plurality of these modules allows for the sharing of a partial common perimeter to increase workspace efficiency. In a preferred embodiment, the inclusion of at least one common transport medium and/or identification system allows for further improvements.
