The first device may request contents selected by a user from among the contents list, and the second device may provide the requested contents to the first device.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for synchronization between devices through a wireless connection are provided. The method includes sensing at least one event, selecting a policy corresponding to the at least one event from one or more preset policies, generating a transmission message including the event corresponding to the selected policy and transmitting to a counterpart device the transmission message, receiving from the counterpart device a reception message including the at least one event, confirming the policy corresponding to the event included in the reception message, and synchronizing a folder in real time by performing the event based on the policy.

Abstract: A method for printing a document of a mobile terminal without a separate printer setup is provided. The method includes performing a wireless auto-connection between a mobile terminal and a printer located near the mobile terminal, and when the mobile terminal transmits a document to be printed to the printer, the printer finds a computer capable of outputting the document, transmits the document to the computer, and prints the document in response to a print instruction received from the computer. Accordingly, a user can print various documents stored in the mobile terminal wherever a printer is located, even without information of the printer.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for automatic wireless connection to a digital device in a portable terminal, wherein information about the portable terminal is acquired. The information about the portable terminal is commonly used for automatic wireless connection to the digital device. A state of a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is checked and activated, and the WLAN is set to an Ad-hoc mode. A Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the WLAN is set using the acquired portable terminal information, a security key of the WLAN is set using the acquired portable terminal information, and an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the WLAN is automatically set using the acquired portable terminal information.
