  • Patent number: 11483140
Abstract: Trusted nodes in a network perform secure out-of-band symmetric encryption key delivery to user devices. A first trusted node receives a request from a first user device to deliver symmetric encryption keys to the first user device and a second user device, as a pair of user devices. The first trusted node delivers a second symmetric encryption key to the second user device, via trusted nodes. The first trusted node receives confirmation of delivery of the second symmetric encryption key. Responsive to the confirmation of delivery, the first trusted node delivers the first symmetric encryption key to the first user device.
    Type: Grant

    Assignee: QUANTUMXCHANGE, INC.
Inventors: John Prisco, Gene Savchuk, Gary Benedetti, Eric Hay, Aliki Marinos, Stacey Sweeney

  • Patent number: 9961095
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for advanced persistent threat detection on a network. The method includes capturing data packets from a network and performing layered session decoding on the captured packets. Metadata is extracted from the decoded packets and is stored for analysis. Analysis of the metadata is used to detect advanced persistent threats on the network. The system includes a network and a processor coupled to the network. The processor is configured to capture data packets from the network and perform layered session decoding on the captured packets. Metadata is extracted by the processor and stored in a memory coupled to the processor. The metadata may then be analyzed to detect advanced persistent threats on the network.

  • Publication number: 20090138945
Abstract: One implementation of a method reassembles complete client-server conversation streams, applies decoders and/or decompressors, and analyzes the resulting data stream using multi-dimensional content profiling and/or weighted keyword-in-context. The method may detect the extrusion of the data, for example, even if the data has been modified from its original form and/or document type. The decoders may also uncover hidden transport mechanisms such as, for example, e-mail attachments. The method may further detect unauthorized (e.g., rogue) encrypted sessions and stop data transfers deemed malicious. The method allows, for example, for building 2 Gbps (Full-Duplex)-capable extrusion prevention machines.
