    Abstract: A fixing structure of a dental handpiece has a transmission assembly for connecting a handpiece head, a positioning sleeve sleeved onto the transmission assembly and having a positioning member thereon, and a casing composed of a front casing and a rear casing. The front casing is sleeved onto the positioning sleeve. The rear casing is detachably connected to one end of the front casing. The front casing is provided with a push member. The push member is inserted inwardly to lean against the positioning member for the positioning member to be tightly pressed against an outer circumferential surface of the transmission assembly so that the front casing, the positioning sleeve and the transmission assembly are fixed and connected together.

    Abstract: A self-illumination dental handpiece includes a shell having a receiving space. The shell is assembled to a working room. An electricity-generation device is in the receiving space and includes first and second housings. A rotatable fan is in the second housing. The fan is coaxially connected to a magnet bar that is surrounded by a coil. The coil is electrically connected to a first conductive terminal engaged with a second conductive terminal, and the second conductive terminal is connected to a light-emitting device by a wire. A gas inlet pipe, a backflow pipe, a cooling-water pipe, and a cooling-gas pipe are in the receiving space. The pipes are positioned by a positioning member. The gas inlet pipe is connected to an external gas supply and the working room, and the backflow pipe is connected to the working room and the electricity generation device.

    Abstract: A clamping structure is assembled in a handpiece. The clamping structure includes a connecting member for clamping a dental tool and a controlling member. Two or more clamping portions are disposed on the connecting member, and a distance between the clamping portions is changeable due to a control over the clamping portions. The controlling member corresponds to the connecting member and is abutted against the clamping portions. The controlling member can be moved relative to the clamping portions to form the control over the clamping portions so as to allow the clamping portions to clamp or to release the dental tool. A tungsten carbide coating layer is disposed on a contact surface of the controlling member, contact surfaces of the clamping portions, or both.

    Abstract: A waterproof case includes a base, a cover, and a pressing member. The base is assembled on a carrier. The base has a positioning groove recessed around the periphery thereof. The cover is assembled on the base. A receiving space is defined between the cover and the base. The cover has a sealing portion protruded therefrom and the shape of the sealing portion is corresponding to the shape of the positioning groove. The sealing portion of the base is engaged in the positioning groove. The pressing member is assembled on the cover. The pressing member generates a force to press the cover on the base by a pressing means, so that the gap between the sealing portion and the positioning groove is reduced.
