  • Publication number: 20160213326
Abstract: A method of eliminating noise from an electrocardiography (ECG) signal and an ECG signal sensing apparatus thereof are provided. The method of eliminating noise from the ECG signal includes the following steps. The ECG signal is generated, and a median filtering process is performed on the ECG signal to obtain a median ECG signal. A calculation process is performed on the ECG signal and the median ECG signal, so as to obtain a detrended ECG signal.

  • Publication number: 20160081631
Abstract: A respiratory waveform recognition method comprises: (a) detecting a respiratory airflow in a respiratory cycle; (b) measuring an amplitude of the respiratory airflow and a duration of the respiratory cycle; (c) using a plurality of sampling points to determine an inspiration waveform and an expiration waveform according to the amplitude and the duration; (d) normalizing the amplitude and the duration of one of the inspiration waveform and the expiration waveform, so as to establish a normalized waveform; and (e) accumulating the differences between the normalized waveform and a reference waveform to calculate a flow index useful for the identification of a normal respiration state and an abnormal respiration state. A curve, such as a weighted curve or a standard waveform, is used for fitting of the inspiration waveform or the expiration waveform to calculate the differences, and the differences are accumulated to identify the normal respiration state and the abnormal respiration state.

  • Publication number: 20130046191
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method to measure the pulse pressure signals, which inflates and deflates at least one air bag to detect pulse pressure signals of a human limb. The system comprises a detection device and a host device. The detection device is place on an artery of a human limb and includes one or more air bags. The host device controls inflation and deflation of the air bags, measures pressure variation of the air bags, and records and analyzes pulse pressure signals. The system and method of the present invention can simulate the three-finger technique of pulse diagnostics of the traditional Chinese medicine and provide physicians with more reliable pulse-diagnostics information.

  • Publication number: 20060287605
Abstract: The invention discloses an heart rate variability (HRV) analyzing device, which integrates the ECG signal measuring and processing technology and combines the HRV analyzing functions. The device adopts sensing electrodes disposed thereon or external sensing electrodes to record a subject's ECG signals. After being amplified, filtered and analog-to-digital converted, the ECG signals are transmitted to a built-in CPU to proceed with time domain and frequency domain analysis, and the results of the analysis are shown on a display unit. In such a way, the signal acquisition, algorithm calculation and display can be completed in the single device of the invention, which simplifies the conventional instruments and equipment, and provides an indication of the subject's health state in the aspect of self-health care.
