Abstract: A method for noise alerting includes: recording ambient sound around an electronic device and generating corresponding sound signals; determining a volume of the ambient sound according to the sound signal; obtaining a noise grade corresponding to the determined volume of the ambient sound in a first table mapping relationships between a plurality of volumes and noise grades; searching a second table mapping relationships between the noise grades and solutions to obtain a solution corresponding to the obtained noise grade of the ambient sound; and outputting an alert to a user for recommending the obtained solution. The electronic device for noise alerting is also provided.

Abstract: A portable electronic device includes an enclosure, at least one pressure monitor, a battery, a working component, and a power management module. The at least one pressure monitor is used for detecting a pressure value from the surroundings and generating a detecting signal when the detected pressure value is larger than or equal to a predetermined pressure value. The battery supplies electrical power to the working component. The power management module manages the battery to supply electrical power to the working component and cuts off electrical power from the battery to the working component when receiving the detecting signal.

Abstract: A media playing system includes a media player device and an information processing device. The media player device is used for generating a convert request signal indicating a request of a format-converting operation between an original data format and a target data format of a video data in the original data format, and transmitting out the convert request signal and the video data in the original data format; and the information processing device is used for receiving the convert request signal and the video data in the original data format from the media player device, invoking a format-converting program according to the convert request signal to perform the format-converting operation to generate video data in the target data format, and transmitting the video data in the target data format to the media player device.

Abstract: A multi-channel switch for connecting between an electronic apparatus and a testing apparatus comprising: a multi-channel interface for connecting with the electronic apparatus, comprising a plurality of channels; a single-channel interface for connecting with the testing apparatus, comprising one channel; an audio sensor for receiving a sound input, and generating audio signals accordingly; and a controller for receiving the audio signals and establishing a through connection between one of the multi-channel interface and the single channel interface according to the audio signals.

Abstract: A method is provided for transferring an incoming call. The method includes determining whether the incoming call is answered or transferred, converting caller information of the incoming call in a first network to yield converted caller information in a second network for the incoming call being transferred is not answered, sending the converted caller information to a server in the second network, and checking the converted caller information stored in the server. Moreover, a callee station having a callee terminal, and a communication system are used for implementing the method.

Abstract: A mobile communication apparatus comprising: a plurality of input keys for receiving a user inputs for performing functions of the mobile communication apparatus; a plurality of touch sensors configured on surfaces of the keys for sensing touches and generating a sensor signal; a controller for generating a command according to the sensor signal; and a player for reading a sound file according to the command, and outputting sound corresponding the sound file to a speaker. A related keypad input method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A surveillance system includes a camera, a brightness detector, a light source, and a controller. The camera is used for capturing images of a monitored area, and generating captured images. The brightness detector is used for detecting brightness of the monitored area, and generating a brightness signal. The light source is used for emitting light to illuminate the monitored area. The controller is used for generating a light control signal according to the brightness signal. The light control signal is configured for controlling the light source. A surveillance method is also provided.
