    Abstract: The astigmatic power for a toric intraocular lens which corrects the preoperative astigmatism of a patient due to a disease or the like can be determined by converting preoperative corneal astigmatic data to the intraocular lens astigmatic power. Furthermore, the intraocular lens power for a toric intraocular lens which corrects the preoperative corneal astigmatism of a patient due to a disease or the like can be determined by calculating the intraocular lens spherical and astigmatic powers from radius-of-corneal-curvature data or corneal refractive power data in the strong principal meridian direction and radius-of-corneal-curvature data or corneal refractive power data in the weak principal meridian direction.
