  • Patent number: 4378957
Abstract: The reduction gear of an electronic wristwatch comprises three concentric output shafts adapted to be rotated at different speeds and operatively connected with each other and with the shaft of a stepping motor through gear wheels. A shaft making one revolution per hour has mounted thereon a friction wheel and a bearing means made in the form of a supporting bush press fitted in a bore of the plate of the wristwatch. The bush is mounted so that a portion thereof projects from the plate toward the bridge of the wristwatch, coordinated with respect to the plate and attached thereto by threaded means. The shaft passes freely through a bore in the supporting bush and is restricted from an unlimited axial displacement in one direction by an end face of the supporting bush, and in the other direction by the end face of that pinion which is mounted on the shaft with interference fit.

  • Patent number: 4369385
Abstract: A single-phase step micromotor comprising a stator wherein cylindrical surfaces of a pair of pole pieces face each other. Interposed between said pole pieces is a double-pole rotor. Arranged between the stator and rotor is a rotor fixing means in the form of a ring, the thickness of which is less than that of said pole pieces, and the inner diameter of the ring varies along the angular coordinate of the stator.

  • Patent number: 4240249
Abstract: A day disk cooperates with a storage of mechanical energy via a seven-position Maltese mechanism. A Maltese cross of said mechanism is rigidly coupled to and coaxial with the day disk. A transfer pin of the Maltese cross is set on an intermediate gear of the storage. A driven disk includes a projection for the transfer of a toothed date ring. The locking surfaces of the Maltese cross lock on the driven disk. Provision is made of a free unloaded lever with one arm locking in position the date ring and the other arm of said lever resting against the projections of the Maltese cross, thereby relieving the moment of load of the calendar device on the gear train and improving the reliability of the timepiece.
