  • Patent number: 11408602
Abstract: A light assembly includes a heat pipe having a first condenser portion and a first evaporator portion. The heat pipe has a longitudinally extending wall. A plurality of light sources is disposed at least partially around and thermally coupled to longitudinally extending wall at the first evaporator portion of the heat pipe. A heat sink housing has a heat sink portion, an electronic housing portion and a plurality of fins. The heat sink housing receives the first condenser portion of the heat pipe. The heat sink housing separated from the electronic housing portion by a wall. The electronic defines a drive circuit volume comprising a drive circuit and temperature sensor. • Patent number: 9829187
Abstract: An assembly includes a contact interface device, a lamp base and a circuit board. This device is connected to the circuit board and is used to bias the circuit board within the center of a cavity of a light bulb. This device contains two or more biasing portions that are connected to one another through a bridge portion. The biasing portions engage an interior threaded portion of the lamp base in order to lock into place and not allow the circuit board to move. The bridge portion allows the biasing portions to counteract one another and suspend the circuit board in the middle of the cavity of the light bulb.

  • Patent number: 8723424
Abstract: A light assembly includes a light source circuit board and a plurality of light-emitting diodes disposed on the light source circuit board. A plurality of light pipes axially extends from and adjacent to each light-emitting diode. Each light pipe has a respective first end adjacent to the plurality of light-emitting diodes and a second end opposite to the light-emitting diodes. The plurality of light pipes communicates light from the light-emitting diodes therethrough and defines a cavity therebetween. A plurality of thermal vanes forms a heat sink for removing heat from the light-emitting diodes. The plurality of thermal vanes extend adjacent to the plurality of light pipes. A driver circuit board is disposed within the cavity.

  • Patent number: 5939796
Abstract: An electrical switching unit includes a first switch for positioning a vehicle component or activating a memory function. A second switch controls the first switch to select between positioning the component or activating the memory function. Preferably, the switching unit controls the positioning of the right and left side mirrors and activation of a memory function. In one embodiment, the second switch has three positions to select right side mirror positioning, left side mirror positioning, or memory function. The first switch includes four sub-switches to control the upward, downward, inward, and outward adjustment of the right and left side mirror and activation of the set and recall modes of the memory function.
