    Abstract: A solid state formulation adapted for hydrogen generation includes a mixture of sodium borohydride and a water storage agent that is stable below about 60° C. but adapted to release water upon heating to a temperature between about 80° C. and about 300° C. A method for generating hydrogen by heating that solid state formulation is also provided.
