  • Patent number: 9867506
Abstract: A cover for the surrounding surface adjacent a sink is provided having a body formed of flexible material. The body is configured with an aperture sized to surround the sink and shield a user from contact with the surrounding surface and the surrounding surface from a communication of liquid from use of the sink. The cover may be modular and formed of multiple components or may be configured of a sheet of material which has removable portions to allow customization for positioning to an as used position surrounding the sink.

  • Publication number: 20120151787
Abstract: The present invention relates to a mathematics tool such as a geometric mathematics template. The tool comprises a body having a 360 degree protractor with angularly spaced graduations and tracing edge extends about the protractor and includes a first tracing edge and a second tracing edge. The first and second tracing edges extend continuously over arcs covering at least 90 degrees and are marked with the angular graduations. In addition, the first and second tracing edges have different radii about a common centre. The mathematics tool enables a user to mark out any angle with ease.

  • Patent number: 5087078
Abstract: A protective cover for a book including cover sleeves consisting of two overlaying sheets bonded together along three edges adapted to fit over book covers or the like. Each cover having a plurality of tear away strips along an open end of the sleeve. Each of the strips bearing a line pressure sensitive adhesive overlaid with a removable protective facing. A line of pressure sensitive adhesive is positioned along the closed end opposite the strips and on the same side of the sleeve as the adhesive on the strips. An elongated narrow spine piece adapted to engage a book spine having a plurality of tearaway strips at least on one narrow end of the spine. Lines of pressure sensitive adhesive along the long edges of the spine piece on the same side thereof. Easily removable protective facing on each of the spine adhesive lines. When the cover is installed on a book or the like there is no attachment to the book surface.

  • Patent number: 4756581
Abstract: The invention is directed to a portable file which comprises an open housing with side walls, an end surface and a base; a translatable container within the housing having a plurality of removable file divider walls, protrusions on the side surface of the file divider walls engage angled slots on the container side walls. The file divider walls include a hinged attachment to the housing bottom surface; a lid similar in construction to the "roll top" of a desk covers the open upper surface of the housing in one extreme translated or "rolled" position to its opposite extreme position where it is stored between the lower surface of the container side walls. With the lid in its stored position, the container can be translated relative to the housing causing the file divider walls and contents to rotate from their stored position where they are closely angled to the housing bottom to a substantially upright file use position.

  • Patent number: 4572547
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method of alerting a person to a date of a future event prior to the date of that event. The method utilizes a container in which are placed day of the month numbered cards and month of the year cards in sequential order in a suitable container. File cards are filled out as required indicating the subject matter and the date of an event directed to that subject matter occurring at a future time and date. These file cards are placed sequentially in the front of the month of the year cards according to the month in which the future event falls. In the case of the current month, the day of the month cards are employed and the file cards with a future date falling within the current month are placed in front of the day of the month card with the corresponding date. The current and past day of the month cards for the current month are placed either behind the last day of the month card or in front of the month of the year card following the current month.

  • Patent number: 4008807
Abstract: A display device is provided in the form of pairs of similar article supporting sections supported by a guide or rail or other equivalent support, the sections having adjustable spacing relative to each other. Each section includes a base with a flange accommodated in one of the guides, there being lateral and front lips arranged on adjacent sides of the base to form a box-like structure. With respect to two adjacent sections of this type an aritcle such as a shoe can be supported by such sections spaced either vertically or horizontally apart. Two or more such sections can also be arranged in a train to provide retaining walls for one another. A plurality of guide rails forming part of a framework can be vertically spaced in parallel relationship and the rails may be arranged in two parallel vertical arrays between which is wedged a panel which framework may or may not be telescopically arranged relative to a housing.
